The worst customer service with lack of knowledge in Metrotown branch. I will close my account with this bank soon. I had no issues with other coast capital branches during the last 13 years working with them, however I had several awful experiences only with METROTOWN branch .

If you like honest, informative, and trustworthy advising, Coast Capital is not for you. I have been a client for 3 years and am leaving for many reasons. They include: unsupportive and unresponsive advisors, their outdated transfer fees, their lack of any distinguishing characteristics or perks from other banks or credit unions, and worst of all, the partnership they have with the absolutely brutal Worldsource Financial group. Please CC, if you know what's best for your bankers, leave Worldsource behind. Worldsource Financial has very little information about themselves online, nowhere to leave reviews, limited support, and an extremely weak and underdeveloped webpage and dashboard. It almost seems fake. As an investor, you receive no relevant information from the dashboard, and need to have a very hands-on approach if you want any relative statistic related to your funds. If you have a TFSA or RRSP with Coast Capital, you'll have to deal with Worldsource. Good luck, and good riddance.

Terrible staff and wait times. Saturday, only 2 tellers. I'm next in line and still waited 30mins before I just left. No acknowledgement, nor any of the 2 desk associates bothered to help.

One of the worst service ever, I went to the branch to get the draft from my account, after waiting for almost 15-20 mins on counter the girl came and told me that I cannot get the draft as I deposited the draft few days ago, I showed her my account & told her that I understand there is X" amount which is on hold

I’ve been a member for over 30 years and never had any issues until today. As others have said this location desperately needs more tellers or something. At 1 PM on a Monday the lineup is 8 people deep and has not moved in 35 minutes. The same 2 people being helped the entire time - not sure if they are applying for a mortgage or what. They desperately need an express line for easy/quick transactions and more tellers to move the line.

Worst customer service from Salma Munir. She hung up mid way talking to us on the phone because she didn't like the way the conversation was going. She did not follow up with what she promised a month ago, and had to be reminded on the phone of our conversation. We had to email a follow up asking if she had any updates and still got no response until we called someone else for help. I would give her a 0 stars if I could. What a shame that she is a member representative for Coast Capital.

Save yourself time, money and unneccessary stress, don't bank here, they gotta be the very worst to deal with, the call centre can't answer a basic question about their online banking settings, the customer retention manager also skirts a direct question about their online banking settings, they can't explain why an automated payment stopped being paid automatically and try to blame it on you as a customer, taking no responsibility for their own system, not even caring to look into what went wrong. They can't explain why there's unrecognizable devices logging into your online banking as 'trusted devices' and won't even look into it. They don't care. I talked to 4 call centre agents and even went so far as to book an appointment in branch to find out what went wrong with my automated payment. The 'customer retention specialist' only cared that my spending was high in the previous month, I have no defaults on any payments, yet he seemed to think it was their right to pressure me over taking a vacation the previous month, that I 'spent too much', and didn't answer specific questions about their banking platform, honestly I don't think he knew the answer, but rather than look into it, he skirts questions and lays blame elsewhere. I'll say this is not a place anyone wants to have a business relationship, far less trust with your money or investments, if they can't stand behind how their online banking system works, can't explain the log-ins from an unknown 'trusted device' and don't even care to look at your concerns or investigate...what can a person say but they are not only arrogant and judgemental but totally incompetent. What business of theirs is it to judge a person's spending on a yearly vacation anyway, is this a bank's job? I think they are waaaayyyy above their own heads in the ego department, the loss of another customer likely won't change the attitude this bank has towards their customers, but they lose me anyway, the other banks can't possibly be any worse than this...
