Brampton Parking Enforcement

Apparently got a ticket for parking in driveway. Never knew and apparently they sent out multiple mail according to the judge". I got first mail 2 months after apparent ticket stating my fine is $80. Obviously called and had a hearing the judge charged extra so paid a total of $100. Total disregard to my claim of never actually receiving a ticket stating I was lying. That's the justice system for you."

People parking in No Stopping Zones In front of Northwood Public School every weekday from 3:00pm to 3:30pm blocking everyone.Sure hope there’s no emergency as this road is blocked.You’d figure someone might ticket those blocking the road in front of a school.

I was a visitor for the Canada day and I’m not even from Ontario but I am going back home with a horrible experience. There was enforcement officer very rude and she had no common sense at all. I was picking up kids from no parking zone like 30 seconds not even and she kept telling me drive and don’t stop if I did drive one of my kid could be seriously injured, but this horrible person took my license plate picture and kept saying aggressive words. She was so unprofessional, no intellect , ignorant, I understand job is job, but this woman definitely had some kind of hate in her heart. Finally if I get a ticket I will mention all this nonsense to a judge.

This service is incredibly disappointing. They state a list of enfractions and/or rules, yet do not seem to actually abide by them. I reported a vehicle that had been parking on the street, directly outside of our house, for over 3 weeks, from morning until night - which is against the 3-hour street parking limit - and a by-law officer is yet to come by and ticket this vehicle. Useless!

They literally do not do anything. There is an AirBnB or some sort of rental house bringing down the property value of my and the surrounding homes because the people living there are a bunch of teenage boys from abroad who each have a car, so 6-7 cars are constantly parked on the street. They don’t even enforce their own bylaws of ticketing cars parked overnight, over 3 hours, etc. My neighbours and I complain constantly and no one ever shows up. They take the report over the phone or online then throw it in some unseen heap, apparently.

Made at least 20 complaint to the city about people paking in a No parking zone and Fire route. City of brampton like usual dose nothing about it. Never had this problem when i lived in Vaughan. Witch is much better place to live when you ask the city to do something. Hate Brampton !!!

Parked on my own drive way and I was given a ticket. Apparently for improperly parking. Thought I could park however I want on my own property I pay for!! They giving tickets for little everything to make their money back!!

A literal scam trying to grab as much money from people. Got a $75 ticket for parking on the street in front of my house (no signs or fire hydrants) even after getting a city parking permit for it. Try to dispute it? I have to waste a day to go to the courthouse cause theres no online option, if I want to change the date i have to submit it in writing and on top of that if I miss it they charge another $50 on top. Also their website says online dispute is possible? Which is it?

The Parking Enforcement Service is NOT working seriously. I have reported many times by calling 311 and sending an online request regarding the Parking Infraction on my street BUT unfortunately nothing is done. They told me the service is voluminous and it takes 48 h to send an agent to check the infraction. It seems like waiting for the house to burn down before sending the firefighters. SO SAD!The City Bylaw for Parking Infraction is totally a joke but the Tax Property is quite the difference. They collect and increase my tax property by nearly $500 (for a retiree) but the service is getting worse day after day. I have called more than 6 times a day regarding car parking on the street and overnight for 2 days and NOTHING IS DONE ... NO PARKING ENFORCEMENT AGENT HAS SHOWN UP ... ALL I GOT IS JUST PROMISES. A WORST CITY TO LIVE IN!
