Amazing experience. I just adore my midwife Marcia. She was so attentive, caring, knowledgeable and professional. My husband and I really had a good experience and would definitely go with Marcia again. She made our pregnancy and birthing experience a good one.Highly recommend this clinic!

Wendy, Jess, Margaret and team are absolutely fantastic. Never in my life have I had a medical team support me and validate me like these women do. I was listened to, I was heard, I was guided and educated. As a first time mom with no clue what to expect I was treated like an adult being lead by friends down this unknown path. Supported and protected. I ended up requiring shared care during my third trimester and a transfer of care at birth but they stood by me through the whole process and made sure that not only was my son well and taken care of but I was too. A million times yes, you need these ladies in your life.

Wonderful experience with both of my pregnancies. I never had to wait more than five minutes for appointments (if at all), I always felt supported, and my decisions were always respected. I had Brigid and Emily for my most recent birth and I adored them both. Midwives are very in demand so make sure you apply for care as soon as you can, and make sure to book your third trimester appointments at least a few weeks in advance as the calendar books up.

The midwives struck the perfect balance between off offering sage advice but ultimately supporting me in all of my personal decisions. The home postpartum care was fantastic - I did all of my appointments in the first week in my bed and felt so cared for.

Great experience, for a first time pregnancy experience the midwives here were an incredible resource. I had the pleasure of Brigid and Emily as my midwives, and both were incredibly reassuring for my tendency to worry, including when I had a high-risk pregnancy, including counselling resources if they were needed.While appointments did tend to not be on time, I feel it should be noted that it's clearly because the midwives are wanting to answer every question and allay every concern. I know my own appointments went over time because of my own questions, so I don't really have any issue with starting later than scheduled.These midwives being permitted to practice in the Civic Hospital was a great relief, because I'm told it's the hospital you'd be transferred to in case of emergencies or interventions needed. This wound up happening because of complications that arose at the Birthing Centre, and I'm incredibly grateful to have had their support.I think anyone choosing to be pregnant should have a midwife advocating for their needs/preferences, and this location is a winner for me. I will be using them again if I choose to have another child.

I have been fortunate enough to have Emily and Jess as my midwives. They have been incredible! Throughout my pregnancy they answered all of my questions and put my very anxious self at ease. When there were complications, they helped me right away and advocated for me when I needed. I am forever grateful for these two. Anyone would be lucky to have them!

I truly cannot commend Ottawa Midwifery Collective team of professionals enough.I had the pleasure of being assigned to two wonderful midwifes Rachel and Brigid. I felt such immense support from them and the whole Collective. Such an amazing group of women. Thank you for all your guidance thru my first pregnancy.

Midwife Collective of Ottawa are the best place for any pregnant women.Our personal experience was great. I strongly recommend this place for anyone. Five Stars blindly.Jessica & Emily were an angles. We faced some difficulties from the hospital staff. Extremely extremely extremely disappointed with my experience with these people. Six months past the birth of my child and am still fighting for a birth certificate as nobody attended my spontaneous home birth. Several emails have gone ignored following being told that I could count on their help. Apparently if you move out of their care zone (45 minutes east of Ottawa) you're treated like garbage and you do not matter.

I was fortunate enough to have Rachel and Vanessa leading up to the arrival of our little one. During that time, Megan also filled in during their vacation. On the day of the arrival of our little one, Melissa and Alison were our care providers. I feel extremely lucky to have been able to experience midwifery with this clinic and the entire team that cared for us throughout the process. Margaret and Kloe at the front desk, always greet you enthusiastically and warmly. Rachel and Vanessa, thank you for always taking such great care to ensure I felt safe and reassured in such a critical journey for both my husband and I.
