Unfortunately, I was set to travel out of the country and wasn’t able to follow up until my return. He acknowledged the error, covered my cost, and committed to replacing my pants if necessary. Mistakes happen, but this kind of service is rare and should be applauded.Original review:Very disappointed. I left a pair of linen pants that had not yet been washed to be hemmed. I was very very clear that I wanted excess material left in the hem to be able to lengthen it if it shrank in the wash. The girl who took the order even went back and spoke with the seamstress but I presume never bothered to write any instructions down relying instead on the seamstress’s memory and of course it wasn’t done. A simple request Iike this is fundamental for any quality cleaners and I consider it a big fail.

I’ve been using Alex Fine Cleaners for a long time now , and must say BEST dry cleaners I have ever used . The customer service is beyond excellent . My clothes come out super clean ( chemical free , non toxic which is a bonus ) . Nothing but very professional staff and you get amazing results. I would highly recommend anybody using this dry cleaners. Sam is very polite and professional, and takes good care of his customers !!! Amazing work you guys do. Customer for life!!!

Alex Fine Cleaners is the absolute best in the city! The quality is top notch and you definitely get what you pay for. I have MCS, so it's of the utmost importance that my skin not come into contact with chemicals and irritants - I trust Alex Fine Cleaners and feel safe knowing that I'm not being exposed to toxins.I love that they're able to send out items for specialty cleaning - leather, fur, etc. It might take some extra time, but my parka fur trim was impeccably cared for. The text message system was also super convenient, letting me know exactly when my item was ready for pick up.The staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. I'm so glad I found this cleaner!

We use the dry cleaning services weekly. My husband and I were just talking about how lovely and accommodating all the staff are. This type of service attitude starts a with ownership. Good hiring, good training. Thank you for looking after us and the community so very well.

These guys are amazing!! My clothes always come back immaculate. The biggest bonus is there is NO strong smell like a typical dry cleaner. The customer service they provide is great, always going above and beyond and never giving up to get that stain out!! They’re friendly, professional, welcoming and efficient. I can never go elsewhere! Highly recommended!!!

They do a good job but they have really inconvenient hours - 9am - 5pm - Monday - Friday, so it's difficult to do pick-ups and drop-offs if you work full-time. They are also the most expensive cleaners I have ever used. Staff are very nice.

EDIT: Below is a glowing review from 2 years ago but now I need to add a warning: always check the prices. The quality is still excellent but I just got HUGE sticker shock. Last week, I dropped off 3 men’s long sleeved shirts (nothing unusual, I thought) and the cost came out to $54!! DOUBLE the regular cost per shirt because they are linen. I was told it was my responsibility to check the receipt and because I trusted the price would be the same as all other men’s long sleeved shirts, I didn’t. I didn’t even take a receipt, that’s how much I trusted Alex Fine Cleaners. And they certainly didn’t say anything to me at drop off. So when I went back to pick up the shirts, I couldn’t believe the cost but there was no willingness to provide even a small discount for this issue. So word to the wise, always check prices here! Quality comes at quite a price.PREVIOUS REVIEW from 2021…Sam and his staff are friendly, responsive and professional. I have used this dry cleaners for many years and have had many positive experiences here.But the best was on Christmas Eve 2020 - I had mistakenly assumed they would be open and I needed to pick up an item for Christmas Day. Sam graciously offered to meet me at the shop and open it just for me so I could get my dry cleaning. That's the kind of service that definitely goes above and beyond. Keep up the great work!

If you are looking for a professional, quality job... then this is your place to go when you have something you don't trust with anyone else. I have a winter coat loaded with pearl studs and knew there was only one place to take it. (see attached photos). My 'usual' cleaners would have tossed it in a giant bag with other people's dirty work shirts/pants like it was garbage and I would have been praying that all the finish was still on the pearl detail when I got the coat back. In fact, that same dry-cleaner has told me many times not to buy things that have colouring blocking (or colours with white), beading or this kind of detail because they already know it's going to come back damaged. As we can't always live by those rules, Alex Fine Cleaners is there for you. In addition to quality, never have I experience such professionalism and CARE at a cleaners. NEVER! (p.s. an extra thanks Sam, for also taking the time to tidy up the piling that just happens with normal wear and tear - you rock!)

Did a great job cleaning (vomit) from my bf's leather jacket and a good repair on a different leather jacket that I thought was dead to the world. It doesn't look perfect but close to it. I had very low expectations and they exceeded them tenfold. The first leather jacket for cleaning came out impeccable!Thanks guys!
