Abbotsford Banquet & Conference Centre Ltd

Vendors complained about the hall lighting, stinking carpets washroom not clean enough. Our DJ complained about harassment, rough language by manger and poor sound quality. Sound system needs upgrade. When volume goes up the sound creates noise. Attendees complained about Security guard rude to attendees. There was no garbage bin near food vendors. Organizers were harassed for little little things and manager was carrying a negative attitude throughout. Manager’s customer service skills are poor. Speaks very rude with event attendees especially women. He has no professionalism keeping the confidentiality of the event. Manager took the video of the event on his phone and posted on his personal Facebook without permission of organizers and the attendees. Organizers were promised to have slide show on projector screen , tea and water but it didn’t happen only water was provided very unprofessionally as there was no arrangement to avoid water spillage on the floor. When asked for some extra tables and chairs, organizers were insulted with rough language. When organizers asked for support the manger said “ I don’t want to talk to you” in that case there was no extra support to the organizers with whom they could talk to resolve the issues at the event venue. Rough language of manger was felt by many attendees and vendors. We got a brilliant turnout of attendees as both the organizers are well known and respected in the community but hall manger denied to provide extra chairs and tables. Our vendors were not happy not to see the slide show happening as promised when it was prepared by the organizers with great efforts. After initial testing it was not at all run on the screen throughout the program. This was my first experience to host any event there but it was worst than I ever imagined. The owners must look at these issues to help the future event organizers.

I am absolutely amazed and shocked by the FAKE reviews. Nobody by the name of Ramandeep came to the dandiya event. And second of all, so this person who came with her kids APPARENTLY went backdoor to the manager's office and heard all the conversation between the managers and the co-ordinators. If you want to lie ATLEAST keep it believable.Putting a nice review with a 5 star rating does not change the truth.On the topic of not having enough chairs, we asked the manager to provide us with few extra chairs from the beginning and he very rudely denied.When somebody went to get forks from the kitchen, he snatched it from the guests hand, replying that he did not allow anybody to use his cutlery.The DJ who came to the event was professional, he brought his equipment that he usually brings to other events as well. He was denied using the speakers to the hall even when the organizers were okay with the plug in fee. After requesting the manager for over an hour he allowed the in-house speakers, albeit wasting lots of time.I had been nice to the manager from the starting hoping his attitude towards the guests and organizers would change, but sadly he still managed to ruin his reputation.

Just few weeks ago i was attending wedding reception at Abbotsford Banquet & Conference Centre along with my family and we have to thank the Abbotsford Banquet & Conference Centre team for making our day a special one! The venue was beautiful! The food was delicious! The service was friendly and professional! The atmosphere was electric! If you are having an event there is no other place to consider other than Abbotsford Banquet & Conference Centre !!! We are eternally grateful to Sukh ! and his team for such a wonderful experience!!!

Some thoughts about DJ Gravity....i have been in there a few times already, and have no complains.DJ only seems to be p.o'ed because their services are no longer required.... Welcome to the business- world!this year, the company i am working for is using this facility again and i am looking forward to it!Keep up the good work, your food also is a blast.... oh yes, there was one other guy complaining about the food not being healthy- the best thing is, you turn Vegan and start munching out on lettuce! Or quit eating alltogether!

Our brothers wedding reception was held here over the past weekend and it was perfect! The staff have been amazing to work with from the time we booked until the very end of the night. We didn't have one negative review on the food, all of our guest were happy and had so much fun. The venue is beautifully set up and I found the manager & staff went above and beyond our expectations. I would recommend this place to any one looking for a wedding venue, or even just hosting a large party.

Management offered our two day conference a wonderful space, with very little advanced notice. The space had nicely arranged tables and table settings. The food was excellent and was enjoyed by everyone. The service was polite, discreet and respectful. The great service, food and space played a major role in the success of our two day conference. Many thanks to Sukh and his team!

Nice place to have a small-medium event. Good sized seating area, small stage. Buffet only had a few items but I suppose that's the fault of the event not the venue. Clean and classy.

I'm from Vancouver BC, Excellent Service by the staff, Best fish pakoras and food conforms to authentic western style of cooking. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were tasty and seemed to have been prepared in the traditional way. I recommend this place for parties.

Got married there a year ago. The whole organization was close to flawless. People loved the food and were impressed by the variety offered. The drinks at the bar were amazing, they even asked us if we preferred anything in particular and made sure to have it.What is most important than anything, is how the people we were dealing with were simply gems, making everything so easy in this stressful planning. I can definitely not say the same about other halls in Abbotsford, for having been an active part of so many other weddings.What I can generally say about this place, is that you get more than you ask for, in every possible aspect; and that the laid back yet very professional attitude of people working there is not to be taken for granted.Thank you guys for an amazing experience, a year later, but better late than never, shows it will never be forgotten :)

I have been searching many venues to host our Anniversary, but many are over priced for what they offer. When I google and called up Abbotsford Banquet & Conference Center, their staff was very helpful and professional. Especially, the Manager Sukh.The decor was on point and beautiful! Staff was very accommodating from the beginning and worked with our short timeline. Our guests really appreciated the convenient location and the ample parking. While the venue is beautiful, the parking is great and DJ was solid, what really impressed us was the food! Everyone, even the most pickiest of our guests, LOVED the food -- both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Sukh went above and beyond with quality of food. We had a great salad station that our guests loved. The sweet table, too, was very nice. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious.I'm sure we could have found a cheaper place and even more expensive ones, but I'm glad we went with Abbotsford Banquet & Conf. Center. The pricing is reasonable and definitely worth every penny! We loved it so much that we have booked the venue for an upcoming birthday party.If anyone wants to host an event, Abbotsford Banquet & Conference Center is your best option.
