Monte Carlo Inn - Toronto Markham

Got the suite, and for the price paid, it could definitely use some improvements. The jacuzzi is small and did not fit me and my partner, which was the whole point of getting this room. Our room was facing east, and there are no curtains, so got an early wake up call. At least the room was spacious.

Had to stay in Markham after a dinner. The front desk staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was exactly as expected for a mid-range hotel. And the Continental Breakfast was OK - it could have had a bit more selection.A general comment - hotels have become very expensive in 2023. This would have been under $100 in the past and cost a lot more than that. Be careful not to drive your customers away!Overall a good stay - thank you.

Stayed here for eleven nights in the King Rainier Suite while on a business trip. The suite is absolutely massive and sits on two floors. The jetted tub downstairs is lovely, however the bed is extremely firm and the room gets quite bright when the sun rises because there are no curtains for the upper window. The staff were all very courteous and kind. However I would avoid the restaurant. The free breakfast is alright but the upgrade isn’t even worth the $7. The lunch and dinner menu consists of overpriced Costco products. The outside of the hotel is absolutely beautiful especially when the fountain is going, and the inside is very clean. The large, bright stairwell even smells like grapes.

Would have rated higher if not for housekeeping today this morning. Our check out is at 11:00am. And she unlocks our door trying to come in way before that time?? We had the DND sign on the door. I am literally undressed and I see the door opening? I have never had this happen in any place of stay. I am sure she can read what time it is, if not, I have no words for her. You have no reason to be entering my room when it's not even check out time. Disappointing that we had to leave on an unhappy note because of her. Ridiculous.

I never write reviews but this place was BAD. The first room we were put in had the auroma of mold. There was two cheap tvs in the room which both needed to be on in order for either to work. Shortly after checking in we realized there was a heavy leak coming from the ceiling. After calling staff to check on it the man explained it's only doing that because it's raining outside

I know running a hotel/inn is not a easy job and requires 24/7 efforts. I have stayed with my wife in this inn for four consecutive nights in the late days of April 2023. Contrary to other review that I have read so far, we observed our king room to be quite clean, and quite. The bathroom and bathtub were all clean. The restaurant meal was a bit expensive but variety of healthy meals in a good quality could be ordered. Breakfast was on hotel and vouchers can be provided on a daily basis between 8 am to 10 am. Breakfast was limited to few things and it is not fancy, but served in the dining room/restaurant every morning. The manager of the hotel and other staff that we faced were quite polite and professional. There was always someone in reception desk 24/7. The check in and out was quite easy, just put the unit entrance keys on the front desk or give it to the front desk staff. They charge $100 extra but will return it back if the reserved unit is in good condition when you leave. Overall, it was very good experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel/inn.

My Mom & I had an excellent stay. We were here for a few days. Staff was courteous & you have a good option for breakfast and restaurant in the lobby. Room was very clean. If I ever and back in Toronto and in the area, this is a place I would definitely stay at again!

I love this hotel very much. The place is clean and very well maintained. Prices are adequate and reasonable. You get breakfast included in the price (not all places have this). The staff is very friendly. They are very attentive and caring. Their customer service level is sky-rocketing and I mean it. 5 stars is not enough. This place deserves much more than this. They are very accommodating. I definitely suggest everyone to stay here. You can stay at the room, have a meeting or even celebrate your special event in their banquet room. For those who likes to work out, they have gym.
