This was my first time going to European Meats - I honestly found the basement a little odd for a meat shop, but just like the other reviews say the bacon is AMAZING! It’s thicker, it’s tender, not too salty, great flavour - wow I was super impressed! I’ll definitely be back!

The guy with glasses and hat white male everytime i go there he never lets me finish my order just walks off I have to ask him for stuff while he’s walking back and fourth he’s done this numerous times I’m never going back I only went back to give them a chance when I put stuff on counter to buy he doesn’t put my stuff for purchase puts to side without me knowing I forget so rude must be a race thing I don’t know lost a customer and someone told me they buy stolen meat from people off the street.

Went there today looking for Bratwurst because we have been to many places in the Winnipeg area before and have been disappointed. I came home with a few links and had them for dinner. This was the best we ever tasted in Winnipeg. Same as when we were in Germany a few years ago. This place is a hidden gem in Winnipeg. Highly recommended.

They have a huge selection. Some great sales if you buy a box of some items. I got ribs and chicken wings for the whole BBQ season!
