Renter's Choice & Management Ltd

Rented with this association for over a year an a half in Lethbridge. They claim to be “pet friendly” but will charge you an obscene amount for each individual pet you want to bring into a rental. I tried to get my three guinea pigs on my lease and they said at the high end I would be paying $15 per guinea pig per month. Not affordable or reasonable in the slightest. I was a quiet, respectful tenant who had noisy, obnoxious folks living above me in my basement suite. They had domestic issues and I had to call the police. These issues were ongoing and I kept record of it. When I reported it to Renter’s Choice they offered no help. When it came to moving out I spent hours cleaning the place from top to bottom and now have received an email saying they need to hire a cleaning team and that the cost will be deducted from my security deposit. If you are considering renting from them as a tenant, DON’T. I will never rent with this association again. I am so unimpressed.

Highly Recommend Renter's Choice. Amy was fantastic in guiding us through the process. I was worried hiring a property manager would put our tenants into worse situation, but Renter's Choice's guidelines and especially openness to pets aligned well with our values. Every person I've interacted with there has been fantastic.

I noticed my hot water heater was leaking so i called amy at 930pm. She told me a plumber was called and to turn off the water to the tank which I did. Then this afternoon the plumber came by and replaced the hot water tank. The plumber was great and did a awesome job.I want to thank Amy for her quick response in helping out. I really appreciate the quick repsonse.

I’ve had a great experience with Renters Choice!I’ve been renting from them for about 5 years and in that time I went through a financial hardships, and they worked with me until I was back on my feet. Thanks Nicci!Also anything that I purchase that’s for the house they reimbursed by deducting it off on the next months rent.

My experience with Renter’s Choice has been a positive one. The communication is prompt, the request for repairs streamlined, no unexpected fees, nice people to work with and much information shared to ensure the property is well cared for. I felt well supported at all steps of the way.The application process was somewhat painful for someone like me who came from owning a house rather than another apartment, but I understand the scrutiny. Might be worthwhile to think about how to streamline that case.

This is our first time renting with a rental company and so far we are so happy! Every employee we have met has been so friendly and all of our concerns are taken care of quickly. I would definitely recommend Renters' Choice!!

I’ve been with renters choice for 10 years and just moved out of a rental and into a new one. Move out inspection went great, I’ve heard so many people say they have issues but Amy was great! Ashlee did my move in inspection on the new place, super easy going (sad to see her go)Any maintenance issues always fixed or replaced upon putting in a request unless new appliances or parts had to be ordered. Thanks for everything you’ve done for us!

Very happy so far with Renter's Choice! From the application to the move in till now has been very great and I would definitely recommend them! Super quick on repair requests and everyone is really nice to talk to as well. Very happy I chose them as my first place to rent from!

absolutely a nightmare company to deal with. we were assigned kelsey who would take days to call or text us back led us to think we were being approved for a place on friday and then waited till monday to deny us. the costumer service is disgusting and i will never be using renters choice again. i now have 10 days to find a place to live. shame on you renters choice and shame on you kelsey.

Firstly, I saw the place at 2:30 and I was impressed with the condition and the professionalism of your agent.Secondly, the rental price for a place like that is more than reasonable and it is a real deal.Finally, I only have a few details to finish my application for this unit as I stated an application for another place. I boast with all my pay landlords that they have been impressed of the cleanliness and no damage to any of the places I've rented since 2020.If I'm fortunate and privileged to be the renter of 2510, 18 Street North feeling, I truly will be looking forward to moving into a nice, professionally kept and quiet Northborough....Thank you
