WAIT. Did you ACTUALLY post that you are denying food to homeless people without documentation of double vaccination with an experimental biological that is causing serious cardiovascular & neurological adverse events & death? Shame on you!!

I’ve so much appreciation for the efforts of the staff and volunteers of Hope Cottage, who have worked tirelessly to provide delicious and nutritious meals to the hungry in our city for more than 50 years. Their dedication and compassion have such a positive impact on our community. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, they were on the front lines, and not a day was missed. Eddie’s soup is truly soup for the soul!

This is an outstanding local institution that has been serving up to 200 people a day for over 50 years. They did not miss a day because of the Pandemic. Congratulations to all our staff, volunteers and those that support this great cause

I love this little building just on Brunswick street. Everyone that works here is Godsend. The lovely and friendly atmosphere. Everyone was greeted with a smile, warm breakfast. I'm going back for sure to help out.

Would be nice to have a vegetarian option. Pot of soup was left out on the service counter; health and safety concern.Asking for paper-proof of a service dog is the exact meaning of discrimination"Thank you for the free hot meal! Very appreciated. :)"

I have known of the great work Hope Cottage has done since it’s opening in 1970 when Father Mills introduced the facility to the community .It has serviced thousands upon thousands of needy persons of our community.It continues to provide so many needs through the full time staff and many many volunteers .I am so proud and honored to be part of the friends of Hope Cottage who raise the needed funds to provide a positive future for Hope Cottage who do so much for so many.

The staff is very friendly the food was good quality a sandwich of the day and soup of the day and coffee. Staff also made extra allowances for my wheelchair access. This is a much-needed service for low-income persons but anyone can drop in.

The people that serve at Hope Cottage in Halifax have got to be the most generous kind hearted people I know. The brutality that they have to endure every day so that they can feed people is beyond comprehension. Whether it’s verbal or physical, so if you go there for a meal be grateful instead of hateful.
