I could easily put 10 stars for this place. Amazing food and excellent service, beyond excellent!!We came just for a date night. We ordered tuna and steak tartare for appies. Both are great. Then the manager, Tyler, came to check in on us, and we gave our honest opinion that the steak tartare was a bit too seasoned for our liking (personal preference). It was not a complaint or anything because it tasted great. I thought, just like in any other restaurants we've been, he would've just brushed it off and moved on. Nope, he came back with another plate of steak tartare and asked us to try it. He apologized for the first plate. He said he went to the kitchen, tried it himself and agreed with us, so he made us a new one. He didn't even let us pay for BOTH plates!Marina, the server, and Tyler were amazing, very attentive. They're so friendly!After we finished our entree, Tyler came with a plate of dessert that we didn't order. He said it was to make up for the steak tartare.Added: Small details I forgot to mention. We reserved a table before hand, and we were given a small table by a window and the entrance. We requested to move to a booth and with no hesitancy, the hostess did what we asked for. Also, we ordered cocktails that were not on their menu, didn't really expect they would make them for us. The bartender did our requests! Everyone in the restaurant (hostess, waitess, cooks, bartender, manager) made our night!Modern Ocean, thank you so much for the memorable night!

Absolutely loved my meal here. The cocktails were delicious and the food was phenomenal. We ordered the three cuts of steak and they were the best steaks I've ever had. We saw a lot of the seafood come out and it looked amazing so we will definitely be back to try the seafood. Also the service was great! I wish I took pictures so next time I will share pictures.

We were recommended to try here for a double birthday. The interior was beautiful and set the tone. The service was beyond exceptional. The food was amazing. For the quality of experience I feel it was well worth the cost and probably good value for the money.

Service was fantastic. Drink orders were taken promptly with great attention to detail. Steak was definitely undercooked for a medium rare, but meat was of good quality. All in all , a positive experience.

Last time we went to the steak side, and this time we tried the ocean. We tried tuna and steak. Yes, we can still order steak at the ocean side. They provide black, white, and pink salt for our food(haha, I don't remember the name). Pink salt went really well with tuna. Ahi tuna is really recommended if you are a seafood lover. The desert is baked Alaska, and it is fun. I love it.

Went for dinner and it was amazing! Had the Japanese wagyu steak and it was absolutely worth the $$$. The restaurant has really nice decor and the staff were friendly. The desserts were out of this world! If you are looking for great steak, this is the place for you!

Great experience over all. I’ll be coming back that’s for sure. Food was great and dessert was entertaining. One steak was over cooked and the other was a chewy / an off cut but the over all quality and execution was amazing.

I went there for their special Thursday Surf & Turf which you can get a steak & shrimp, but I upgraded to lobster tail for $19. Food was good, servers were friendly and helpful even though we came almost closing time.
