Dr. Patel Dentistry - Ajax

Have never stopped my search for best doctor till I find Dr Patel. He is one of the doctors who took my complicated case to build a bridge of 8 tooth. I was turned down from many doctors as they were not ready to work on such a long bridge. I will have him for life time recommended for any dental treatment. And also he is reasonably good for pricing.

Called the day before because my wisdom tooth pain was unbearable. Dr. Patel saw me the following morning and removed my wisdom tooth. The procedure took no more than 10 minutes. Dr. Patel was professional, addressed my concerns and put me at ease.

Had the initial scans, exam, cleaning and some fill ups done for the whole family. Dr. Patel is very nice and takes time to listen

Dr Patel dentistry is warm and inviting from the moment you show up. Their reception greats you by name as you enter. They also call you before your appointment as a reminder, great service.Their hygienist is so warm and kind and gives the best and most supportive pep talks. She is very personable, professional and she does great work with teeth and gums.Their dentist Dr Patel is also friendly but he's mostly professional with his conversation and time. Still great work though so far.I look forward to my next visit and I don't say that much about visits for physical health lol.

Unprofessional and rude dentist I have ever met.I went today for getting my teeth fillings done for the tooth which has highest level of cavity as said by Dr Patel and to my surprise he starts making my gums numb without letting me know that he is starting filling for the tooth which has minimum cavity.When I asked the reason, this rude and unprofessional dentist said I know what to do. I was so scared when he talked to the top of his voice. I mean I cant beleaguered a dentist or any doctor in Canada speaking to a patient like this.In addition to that he is just greedy for all the insurance claim you have and is not genuinely focused on the treatment of which a patient needs. He exaggerates the urgency of the fillings and extraction you need which is not even urgent.I have never seen a rude person like him.PLEASE double check all the treatments he suggests you.

I was fortunate to encounter Dr. Patel for an emergency dental concern during COVID. It was the best thing that happened to me. Dr. Patel fixed the issue I had with my cap and the other dental concerns that no one else took seriously.He does very good work and I recommend him to my family and friends all the time.If you have serious dental problems, this is the doctor you should call.

I had not been to a dentist in over 2.5 years due to covid. My former dentist of 20 plus years retired. So I needed to find a new dentist. I had also moved from Toronto to Durham during this time.I was nervous to find a new dentist. I looked at some google reviews and chose Dr. Patel Dentistry. They did a very detailed cleaning and took all of my concerns seriously. The office is modern and clean. All the staff where courteous and friendly. They explained everything that they were doing.I did need one filling in the end and I didn't feel a thing.I will be returning in 6 months. Dr Patel Dentistry is very professional and I now have a new dentist!

AVOID IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR TEETH!I've never felt more uncomfortable at a dentist's office than this one. I came in for a cleaning prior to getting clear aligners (I've had many cleanings before at another office) I was running a few minutes late and so was the Dr. Patel and the hygienist (no big deal) however once I was seated, Dr. Patel was 100% rushing my service and hurting me with the electric cleaning drill!! He also didn't bother giving me mouthwash at the beginning of the service as other dental offices have done so. I had to ask him to stop and explain why he was immediately going in with the electric cleaning tools rather than the manual as I'm used to. He then responded that's just how he provides his service and how the hygienist who was supposed to see me was late from another appointment. He proceeded to ask would you maybe like to come back for better service?" meaning he couldn't provide me good service that day and put my teeth at risk..... I ended up leaving without getting a cleaning and he then told the receptions to rebook me since I didn't have time... HE was the one with no time. AVOID at ALL costs - never going back."

Dr. Patel and his staff were so professional and accommodating when I needed an urgent appointment to help manage my tooth pain. They were very patient and took their time to provide me with excellent care. Highly recommend!
