Hi I need help please i have sent my passport for the stamp of TRV. On the website it’s showing that the processing time is 14 days only if you use xpress post so I did. Now the expected delivery date is gone but what is worst is i have booked my flight for next week and I don’t even have my passport with me. They are not updating the tracking number. It’s still showing tracking number is incorrect. It’s probably because they didn’t dispatch mu passport yet.Please i have to get on the flight next week it’s an urgent work for me. Can somebody please help me. Can you send me the link where i can chat with someone from the office. I would really appreciate it.Thank you

Went very smoothly. Just make sure to collect all documents and be polite. Also, it is normal if they do not respond before the appointment. Applied for Austrian visa, received in one week.

I feel it necessary to share my experience as I see it differs from some of the other reviews. My wife and 2 children attended VFS for our UK biometrics appointments. First, we were able to book sequential appointments online, with only 2 days notice. Second, the staff were extremely helpful. We did not have our checklist printed (that was my mistake) but they kindly allowed me to email the forms to them right there on the spot. Lastly, they took the time to process everything for us right there, even though it was a Friday afternoon. The most amazing part of this all is that everything got processed and returned to us (arrived by FedEx at my door) after 8 business days. These processes can be complicated and confusing. If you offer them patience, they'll return the favor. 5/5 customer service rating from me. Thank you to your whole team there at VFS!

I just want to share my experience as we recently applied for a visa through VFS global for my wife. VFS global gave an excellent service. This outside the fact it is not my first time applying for a visa. I recommend everyone gathering properly the documents and make sure you double check for any question before leaving the office. We wanna take a moment to thank all the services offered and rendered through their website and also customer service by phone.

Hello, I have been attempting to schedule an appointment for a Schengen visa for a significant amount of time, but I have not been successful in finding any available slots. I have tried several cities including Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver, and Toronto, but to no avail.I even went to the VFS Global Office in Ottawa in person, but I was informed that they do not accept walk-ins. This raises the question of how one can obtain a visa in the case of an urgent situation. Unfortunately, the chat support has not been helpful, and appointment slots are not opening up.Additionally, I would like to mention that I am booking the appointment on behalf of my elderly parents who have limited knowledge of technology. It has been a challenge for me to secure an appointment on their behalf. Furthermore, I have filled out the assistance form, but I have not received a response yet.

Took my sister family for the process and really great job done, the security person is so polite and professional, we are early but without any delay both applications weee done within 15 minutes. The girls in the office as process officer were also so well trained and with great professionalism manner. I could not experience anything better, great job, thank you!

I recently visited the VFS center in Ottawa to get a Schengen visa for my upcoming trip to France. First off, I’m based in Toronto but couldn’t get any appointments for short stay visas for at least 3 months out. Everything was booked up and with just 45 days left for my trip I found an appointment at Ottawa and decided to make a sprint to the city. VFS website in Canada definitely needs some improvements in re to scheduling appointments. On the other hand, the France visa website pretty much had all the information you needed for the application process and documents you need. So after getting all my documents, travel insurance and photos in order I arrived 15 mins early at the center (as they instructed in their emails) and my appointment was smooth. Anna and her colleague checked every little detail of my documents to make sure they are in order so my chances of attaining a visa were higher. Next they took my biometrics asked me some questions about my purpose of visit and I was good to go. They gave me a receipt and tracking # for the delivery of my passport and all in all the appointment lasted for 30 mins. The best part - I got my visa in 11 days! I would have given a 0 if I could.First of, the website gives me anxiety. It says I exceeded the amount of attempts why I log in for the first time. Logged back in after 5 hours, still receiving the same message. I randomly luckily logged in successfully after millions of times trying, then some other errors occurred and blocked me from finishing my booking. Plus, I picked a slot and it keeps telling me to pick another slot as the one I pick literally 1 sec ago was booked. Like really?Second, I was assisted by a staff named BhajneetkAC (It was spelled like that underneath the receipt). She was very friendly and gave me a very experience while assisting me on site. However, I brought some extra documents for my application and she said we wouldn’t need them as they weren’t listed. Turned out my visa got refused by missing those exact documents I prepared. Maybe it wasn’t her fault because things weren’t clear from the beginning. Then, she told me I should apply under a different category (which I have to pay $200) instead of the one I was trying to apply (free) because one of the paper maybe not correct. I did follow her instructions and my result came back saying I was applying under the wrong category still. She did mention that if my application is refused I won’t have to go through everything again and I don’t have to try to book in a new appointment myself, that she would contact me and book me in one to help me fix it. Of course it never happens! And all the associates are no where to be reached, website keeps glitching and phone/emails have no responses whatsoever. Like, I’m literally frustrated and these whole things give me anxiety.P.S: I have been trying to get this visa in 2 years and my status is not even a difficult situation, it is just a wrong category and a wrong approach! :(

Hi, I am waiting for my passport, I have mailed it to the mentioned address for the TRV stamp and I have not yet received recieved any update on it. I have a flight to catch next week and it is very important as there is a family emergency. But I don’t have a way to communicate to the visa office, it id soo ridiculous that my document is with them and I am not able to get hold of it what kind of pathetic service is this. If someone has an emergency one cannot contact anyone and just keep waiting until the government responds. This is the worst experience i have ever had. I need urgent help on this situation as I have to leave as soon as by the end of next week and if it cannot be mailed I am even ready to visit ottawa and collect it myself. I request a solution to this problem .ThanksSehaj

I am writing a bad review in a desperate attempt to contact someone at this institution. I have been trying since JANUARY to make an appointment. Several attempts in the winter, and I was not able to because I was too early. (Can't book unless you are within a three month window before your departure) So then I get to 2 weeks before my window opens, and there are no appointments. I have been checking every day online for 6 weeks, both in Ottawa and Montreal for an appointment opening and there are none. I've emailed only to get a response that they don't know what the center availability is and to just keep checking. You can't make an appointment in person. I also waited on hold with the call center line for - no joke - FOUR HOURS. After 4 hours, the call dropped because I think you can't be on hold for that long. It has to be a record. I am leaving August 1rst and really need an appointment in Ottawa but it looks literally impossible. Does anyone know how to make a visa appointment at this institution?
