Costco Pharmacy

Costco membership isn’t required to use their pharmacy. When other clinics have told me it will take a couple days to have my prescription ready, they seem to usually have it ready same day if not next day. I purchased a lot of me pets medication here and found that I was able to get them at a lower price then if I had purchased from my vet. Friendly service as well.

Cheapest dispensing fee. Abbotsford location seems good. Generally nice staff and quick to refill if you need it fast.

I wish I could give it ZERO stars. Always at minimum a 3 hour wait. It’s never ready when they say it will be and the staff is rude rude rude!

Speedy staff at the pharmacy and they speak clearly. It's refreshing to see people who are glad to look after you. They take the time to help you out even when they are busy. Keep up the good service guys!

Last week, my husband had an eye infection which required a repeat order of antibiotic eye-drop prescription from Costco Pharmacy Abbotsford.On Monday, we had tried many times to call Costco Pharmacy, but the phone kept ringing and automatically turning itself off. The next day, we tried to call the Pharmacy again but the phone kept ringing again and kept turning off itself. I called Costco Administration. I was told that the Pharmacy line was down. It would take 2 days to have it fixed. At this time, we tried to book a time to see the doctor but to no avail. We had no choice but waited for another two days. We called again, same problem happened. We called Costco Administration. We were told that the Pharmacy line wasn't down and we were put through to Pharmacy via Administration. Unfortunately, the same problem happened again - kept ringing & kept turning itself off.Yesterday (Saturday), we could not wait any longer so we took a 40 minute drive to Costco Abbotsford. Before stepping into the store, we tried the phone again with the same result. We went up to the Pharmacy counter, explained the situation to a lady staff. We were told that the Costco Pharmacy Abbotsford was extremely busy and was under staffed at the moment. After the conversation, it didn't seem that the phone problem was going to be reported to the Manager since we were asked to call back on Monday to resolve another prescription order.How tedious and difficult it is to make phone contact with Costco Pharmacy Abbortsford merely for a repeat prescription!

Great staff, great prices, always awesome service!! Recommend to everyone I know! And you DON'T need a Costco card for the pharmacy FYI!!!

(originally I posted 1-star, explained below, however, the staff there were very helpful and did eventually get in contact with mew over the phone, bumped to 3-star)I may update this depending on my in-person experience but so far they don't answer the phone, or they put you on hold and the line eventually begins to ring again and they don't answer. Rinse and repeat. I don't mind holding and waiting if it's busy but they don't seem capable of that. For context I've never been and wanted to confirm my prescription was given to them properly before driving and having to wait (over three hours according to other reviews)

Phone ahead for refills and shop late afternoon. Have always been courteous and efficient.
