My favorite department store to get better quality and more luxurious products for the home such as bedsheets, towels, dishware, decor and clothing or purses.

Items I wanted were in stock, found a few things I didn't know I wanted!

Our goto place for many of our household needs. Today was protective mattress covers fir our newly purchased mattress.

I’ve been to numerous Winners/Homesense in Ontario, NS and most recently in NL. I have a small dog, older with anxiety issues so never an issue to bring into these stores, in my arms, until this one. “Is this a service dog?. We sell food so according to NL regulations, blah, blah, blah…..” says some guy as he frantically shuffles toward me. I assume a manager. I told him I was by myself, and I couldn’t leave him in the car for HIS health reasons but, no, he has to leave. Acted like I had a moose on a leash. Every winners I’ve been to sells “food items”… it’s not a grocery store for Pete’s sake. Anyway, just moved back to NL, and buying lots of stuff for my new house, but won’t be going here again. I gave it 2 stars because it had some nice stuff in there, but the disrespect was palpable.Edit…. So I went in the other day, and they had some good dog coats. Asked a lady if I could return if not suitable because I can’t bring the dog in. She was surprised and said there’s no problem to bring in my dog, and that people do all the time. I guess the idiot that asked me to remove the dog previously had another agenda.Adjusted my rating thusly.
