This is the most amazing class ever. Mrs. LaTerry is the best teacher I have ever had. She explain things in detail and she takes time out when you need it. She is so talented and know what she is teaching.I have made the most amazing outfits under her directions.Keep up the good work

I have to say this has been the best decision I made to attend a course with Sew Modest. I entered the class with basically no sewing experience and by week 4, I was making a dress for myself. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was very patient and the class was intimate. This is the only the beginning and my only regret is I didn’t join this course earlier.

LaTerry is a great instructor and beautiful person. The space is very intimate and home like giving you a sense of safety and transparency. Highly recommend if you are learning to sew!

Excellent instructor. Fun,happy, knowledgeable and patient!!! I can’t wait for my NEXT class.With the help of the GOAT instructor LaTerry I designed, cut, and stitched this beautiful jacket with zip off sleeves to be worn as vest.

Sew modest is a wonderful sewing studio. I was a complete beginner and learned so much in the intro course. Ms. LaTerry is very friendly, patient and fun! I look forward to taking more classes at the studio!

If you want to learn how to sew this is the place to do it! LaTerry creates a warm environment that ensures you have the confidence to learn a new skill. It can be really intimidating learning how to sew on a machine but I came out of this class with a new dress and the knowledge of all the basics to make my own garments and I am so excited about it. I highly recommend this class.

My daughter attended a summer sewing camp here and it was a fantastic experience for her. The space is beautiful and welcoming, the owner LaTerry is really sweet and talented, Ms. Denise her instructor was absolutely wonderful and encouraging, and all the instructors that work there we interacted with were kind and friendly. It's a very warm and non-judgmental set up and was absolutely worth the drive for us. It's a unique and one of a kind experience and they will make your daughter feel so special while she learns.

This is a great class for beginners. I’ve learned so much in a short period of time and time flies! I was very intimidated to try something new, but LaTerry makes it fun and easy to learn! I would highly recommend it.

LaTerry is a great teacher and keeps her classes laughing; it is an enjoyable environment. I have learned so much in a short amount of time through her beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes...which I am currently in now. I look forward to enhancing my skills with her guidance and support.
