I want to leave a review for anyone feeling nervous about their first time coming to this clinic. Yes, wait times can be long here but the medical field can be that way. Bring a book. Besides that, everyone here is so kind. Any time I’ve had procedures, the nurses and doctors have been so genuine and informative and I feel taken care of.

the receptionists here do not acknowledge you. Like I don't wanna be here either! the nurse that took me in to prepare me for the procedure (Anne, i think her name was) harassed me about vaccinations, then started to question why Im even here because Im only 23? then went off to say that her doctor is smarter than mine, she was extremely unprofessional and already made someone that is anxious, waaay more anxious. other than that, the doctor and nurse in the room were great at making me feel comfortable for the most part.

I went to see Dr Thornton for an iud insertion, I was extremely nervous due to my last experience with another physician. She was very professional, peaked in to make sure i was okay while waiting for her, and made the procedure so quick and painless. I would 10/10 recommend her!

It seems that the review I left a year ago doesn't show up unless I'm on my old account... so here it is again.I would give zero stars if I could. The Colposcopy clinic does not give you all the information before you go in for a surgery. I spent my entire appointment visibly upset and not a single staff member comforted me. I've experienced side effects that I was not warned about before my surgery and have been suffering for over a year. My advice to anyone visiting this clinic is to come expecting to be there for a while (the wait times can be quite long) and also to stand up for yourself. If you're uncomfortable let them know and if they're not respecting your wishes you have to be very aggressive. Don't let them push you around. These people are supposed to be there to help us.If you feel that you had a bad experience I urge you to call Calgary public relations.

The front end staff is courteous, the nurses are friendly and knowledgeable. The doctor was super; well educated with excellent bed side manner.

The doctors and nurses appear to listen and care as long as you're a convenient, compliant patient.Trauma informed care and pain management is not offered here. Being told repeatedly that it doesn't/shouldn't hurt by nurses was pretty invalidating, nearly every part of the multi-year process was painful.I requested a hysterectomy on multiple occasions and was told to seek therapy. My multiple requests for hysterectomy were not recorded in my patient notes/records.They refused to cancel my future appointment when I voiced my dissatisfaction with my care. I had to waste my and their time and take another patients appointment slot just to discharge myself from the clinic because a nurse refused to respect my right to bodily autonomy. This is a trend I've noticed from the healthcare employees at this clinic, they pretend not to hear you when you say no" or "stop."I eventually had a hysterectomy through Bridgeland Gynecology

I had an appointment with the pelvic floor clinic today at 3. I got screened at the entrance for covid and as I was being screened I got a phone call but I couldn’t answer it. I get to the reception area and the receptionist tells me “oh no this is a phone appointment the nurse has been trying to call you she marked you as a no show” I said I was never told it was a phone appointment, I’ve already had the phone consult. It’s 3:02 now can’t she just do the appointment now? “No now there’s a second more in depth phone call that’s just how we do it now so you have to reschedule” the receptionist was so rude and completely unapologetic. I’d already driven all the way down there and paid for parking and I don’t see how a second phone appointment is going to help anybody with pelvic floor issues. Very disorganized and rude not happy at all with my experience with them
