I have a broken foot, and so I went to Rexall in Oak Ridges to buy an airiest boot. The LandMark Medical System's Sprint Air Boot was the only aircast they sold, so we bought it. It was a short boot in the size large. After less than a week, The pump broke and the 'airbag' in the boot exploded. It wasn't like I over pumped it, either, as I put it on in the morning and pumped it once. I went back to Rexall and they only had a long large boot. I had to deal with the hassle for about 6 days, which doesn't sound like it's that bad, but it was terrible. The boots airbag leaked, the caps for the air pump constantly fell off and I had to go look for them (the short boot did this too) and it was just a hot, itchy mess. The velcro started to fall off, and I ended up emailing LandMark. I have to say, I was impressed with the great customer service. They sent a new short airiest boot in large to the Rexall in Oak Ridges, and I've had this for a few days now. That's how I've gone through a total of 3 aircast boots in less than 2 weeks. In the end, I would still go for this boot, even with all of this hassle. I've looked at other boots available after the second boot, and most of them use a hand pump that isn't attached to the boot, which is an even bigger hassle, especially if you loose it.
