Walmart Supercentre
The New Glasgow Walmart is very functional and the staffs working there are very helpful. They have more products than the people of the town can consume. The groceries are always fresh and in reasonable price. The store has a small MacDonald's chain connected to it, which makes it very flexible for their customers to get food and drink. The store overall is very neat, clean and organized unlike other Walmarts.

Selection is pretty good for not being a major city centre. Parking lot is a little confusing the first time, but otherwise excellent. For those who it matters for, there is still full service checkouts as well as self service.

I hate walmart in general, but its a nessessary evil when they are half the price of some of the exact same products on the sobeys shelf.They installed an internal gate that is automated, slow as hell, and interupts traffic flow even more since an entrance filled with older folks chatting isnt slow enough, and after a quick google looks like it is breaking a law about impeded entry ways but im not about to go legally after walmart for a bylaw they will laugh at. You're forced to use a self checkout or wait half an hour for one of 2 cashiers that are ever on duty with huge lines. But they do have better prices on alot of products, so im stuck going here.

Friendly employees. Clean store. Usually very long line ups, self check out is a little bit faster however. Can almost always find everything I am looking for.Seems to be not well stocked lately. Hard to find certain items now.. empty shelves.

Worst shopping experience ever.Went to buy some groceries and the meat was expired and also expensive.I'll deal with Wholesale and sobeys in New Glasgow for now on.The staff was rude the managers were horrible and the self checkout is slow.

Beware when you buy games from this store. I got a Nintendo Switch game from behind the locked glass, sealed in plastic, with nothing inside.My son says thank you Wal-Mart. His 3 day drive out of province is going great now that he has nothing to play... so much for an early Christmas present.

Very good variety of almost every basic necessity. From clothes, workware. Footware, Electronics, Automotive, House supplies, Pet supplies. Groceries, Pharmacy. Health care etc etc!! They Also have the best hours around as we all know it's hard to find anything open at an hour which is convenient to most!!!

I usually go to Walmart for my groceries because that's the cheapest place to go and with the best deals. Lately go and there's nothing on the shelves everything's gone I know it's probably because of covid, but before covid when I go on Thursday, payday. Everything would be gone most people get paid on Thursdays. They need to get this fixed so shipments can be revived so we can get what we're looking for at Walmart.
