GoodSide Pastry House

I’m always elated to be able to snag a treat from GoodSide before they sell out (which is rare but they sell out for a good reason)! I have been here a couple times and the baked goods are always so amazing. This month’s yuzu mango torte is absolutely to die for! It’s rich but also light and fruity. I hope to be able to grab another before the menu change at the end of the month.

There aren't enough positive words to describe how amazing GoodSide is. It's not only a beautiful space run by amazing people, it's always a 100/10 experience. I swear they use magic to make their goodies. Not only do they have the best tarts, cookies and croissants, their cheesecake is extraordinary. Basically you can't go wrong with whatever you decide to get, even if there is a line, I can assure you it's well worth the wait!!

What a delightful experience. Picked up a savoury twist, three decadent desserts and two Foglighter coffees for about $40. Haven’t had the desserts yet but the twist was the magical mix of light, crunchy and cheesy. Perfect to share. Coffee is good. Nice to have beans that are different then all the other spots nearby. Every interaction with anyone working there, really felt like they woke up on the good side of the bed that morning- very welcoming.Got in line about 10 minutes before they opened, and was inside about 10 minutes after they opened. When I left the line was huge behind me. They were offering small samples of chocolate bites. Also gave out dog treats. Will be back!!

THE BEST BAKERY IN VICTORIA. We are lucky to have many options for pastries here in town, but nothing tastes as good as the things that are made here. The quality of the puff pastry, and cakes is top notch. The flavors that they combine with their sweet & savory options, are very impressive. I can't wait to go back!

My mom and I heard about this place from a good eats article and wow did the food ever blow us out of the water. There was a line up of about 15 people at around 11am. we got our pastries and went back to the car and took one bite and got back in line so we could buy more. The poppyseed croissant was the best croissant of my life and I worked at a bakery for 6 years!

Truly amazing pastries and baked goods. Not only are the products being served world-class, but the owners who work super hard at creating such amazing treats are world-class, wonderful humans.

The most marvellous desserts in Victoria! Each pastry is an actual work of art, with the most amazing attention to detail! Every bite is always perfect, coffee is also fresh and delish. Usually sold out if you go later in the day, but the line moves quick and speaks to the popularity. The shop is eclectic with funky style and Haley + Curtis have the most friendly, excited vibe. You can really tell they love what they do! Ive been excited about this bakery since I first heard Haley on the CBC weekend morning show in 2021!!

So so excellent! We waited about 30 minutes, but it was well worth it. The almond double bake was the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten! The savoury twists were also delicious. Excited to come back next month for a new round of goodies!
