This is a place that is frequented more by the locals in the area, but if you’re looking for quality food in a relaxed environment that also helps support veterans and their families this is the spot for you!Food is really great, we got the nachos and the soup of the day which was a chicken and sweet corn chowder that the chief was able to make gluten free for us.The space was very nice with an area for playing pool, comfy leather chairs, dining area, bar, and even a few video gambling machines (which have the sound turned off)We were the only two people eating at 6pm on a Thursday, but the staff made a point of including us in some of their conversation while we waited for our food which was very nice and gave us the impression that they likely know all the regular customers by name.

My aunt and I really enjoyed the soup. She even said she’d love to take the chef home and keep him.

Utterly disgraceful people running this legion. They denied entry to a veteran of this country James Topp. A man who walked across the entire country in support of freedom. Was it jealously that caused them to turn on one of their own because they stood idling while he stood up for Canadians? Was it shame? Envy? Who knows. Could be fear. One thing is for sure, actions speak louder than words. They have shown themselves to be shameful turncoats who are undeserving of respect. Not all veterans are built equally, hero's like James Topp seem more and more to be the outliers. One positive thing that came from all this was it revealed the true snakes among us. Let us never forget.

Went looking for help. No one there that could. It's more of a restaurant and bar than a Legion.

It has been a few years since I was there last but I have always enjoyed my time there. It brings back so many memories and the place has not changed much at all. The food is still good. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. I look forward to the next time that I am able to visit and have yet another good experience.

We had a private party on lunch Friday, because I had to leave early, I requested my bill early and a pea soup. She told me she'd bring it when she put in the order. 45 min later, and 2 more requests, I got the soup when everyone got their order. It wasn't even good, with 1 piece potatoe and 1 piece carrot and 1 salt meat. Not worth the 9.50. Plus others around me said their turkey dinner was cool.

Overall terrible dining experience...very unprofessional with even worse food that was overcharged from the listed price...don't waste you money here to an organization that should be trying to retain people not driving them away

Absolutely a disgrace to all that have served. To not allow the unvaxed or James Topp into your facility spits on the grave of all those who served for freedom. My entire family history is the CAF and I was once proud of the Forces I'm now appalled. You should be striped of title and practice

Veggies were overdone and cold and the liver was over cooked and just shy of being burnt. The service was slow, and while not particularly rude, I wouldn't exactly call it friendly and welcoming either.

They serve the best hamburger ever. The service is great and the menu selection is varied. Make sure you leave room for dessert. The prices are also very reasonable.
