Willowbrae Academy Cambridge

My daughter has been attending Willowbrae for 2.5 months now. The centre is exceptional. The building is meticulously cared for, there is a huge outdoor space, and classrooms are generously outfitted with educational and age appropriate toys/materials. The staff are wonderful and they take great pride in caring for the children. Class sizes are small as the centre fills up, which has been an added bonus in terms of individual attention. There is a great sense of security at Willowbrae, both physically (cameras, finger print ID, etc) and in terms of education and well being. The three educational scopes, solid nutritious menus, and kidfit programs give me so much reassurance that my daughter's every need is being met. I recommend this daycare to every parent I know. It's truly world class.

Teachers and admin are very responsible and friendly. My son really enjoys his time here. the facility is fairly new and very clean compared with other daycares. The meals are very healthy and he loves it. Teachers are experienced and engaging. My son learned so much from the daycare which I’m very pleased about. I would say this is the best daycare in the neighbourhood. Overall, very much recommended !!

It has taken me some time to write this post but I find it important that I do. This place was amazing when Sherry was the director but unfortunately with the new director, it went downhill. Both myself and a friend whose daughter was here had to pull our kids out. The staff literally walked around all day, very rarely engaged with the kids and did maybe one to two 5 minutes activities throughout the day. When I brought it to the attention of the director, it was disregarded and made to seem that I was the problem. The cameras showed my child literally playing with his boots and a garbage can throughout the day and I would ask if the teachers could sit and play and redirect kids and was told that they do. I have plenty more to say but the gist of it is that the director and staff are awful and no one should be paying those ridiculous prices for the horrible horrible experience that we both had.

I tried to enroll my special needs son. They failed to mention the snap referral. They said he would distrupt the other kids, and nap time. They said they were already struggling with the kids they had, as caretakers are sick, have kids sick, etc. Didn't give the vibe they wanted him there or that we were welcome. When I went for a visit twice, they didn't seem to engage with the children much. My personal experience.

Our child was very happy during time at Willowbrae Cambridge. The staff of her Preschool room lead by Breanne took great care and efforts to make everyday fun and safe. Their room was always colourful, decorated and clean. Management by Danielle and Gabby was also well done.

DO NOT SEND YOUR PRESCHOOLERSTEACHER VIYOLET LIED IN MY CHILDS SLEEP REPORTS FOR ALMOST 12 MONTHSTHE DISRUPTIONS IN MY HOME W THE UNEXPLAINED BEHAVIOUR HAVE DAMAGED IRREPARABLY. NO ACTUAL ACTION HAD BEEN TAKEN TO PREVENT THE SAME REOCCURRENCE OF FAILURE NOT ONCE BUT FOUR SEPERATE OCCASIONS WHEN I CAUGHT MY DAUGHTERS TEACHERS FALSIFYING INFORMATION AND NOT FOLLOWING PARENTAL REQUESTS ABOUT NOT SLEEPING AT THE SCHOOLPRESSING FOR REPRIMAND TO THE TEACHER RESULTED IN A TERMINATION AGAINST MY WILL.SINCE DANIELLE HAS BEEN DIRECTOR I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES. MY DAUGHTER HAS REMAINED IN P3 FOR OVER A YEAR AND DURING THIS TIME THE TEACHERS HAVE HAD FULL CONTROL AND HER ABUSED THE TRUST I GAVE THEM TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONSIVE HAD SEVERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY CONCERNS I HAVE MENTIONED CAUSED A DIRECT RESULT IN AN UNSAFE ENVIRONMENT WHEN COMBINED W HER UNWILLINGNESS AND INABILITY TO SLEEP AT NIGHT

Terrible experience here. Came in to register my child and first thing was asked to fill out the forms before even offering us a tour in the place. They didn't provide a proper room or table where you can sit with your child, read through and fill out all the paperwork. Unfortunately, my child accidentally pulled the fire alarm switch that was in the area where I had to fill out the papers. Disappointingly, all the staff were crazy panicked and didn't know how to properly deal with such a situation. They didn't have the alarm keys which should be used to disable the false alarm. Fire truck came in and it was a total mess.After the firefighters controlled the situation, I was told that my son is not welcome to join!!!Miserable and so pathetic!

This is a vertmy good Centre to bring your child, a lovely and responsible place for child's activities! The staff there are very friendly and delivering their love with the kids.

great place for kids. The rooms are clean and tidy. Very friendly staff. Teachers are nice and patient to kids. Our kid is also excited to play here. Highly recommended!
