Pictou Lobster Carnival - Since 1934 > Home | A Nova Scotia Signature Event, this three day festival celebrates the end of the fishing season in the area, maritime culture and music. The event features musical performances at the Main Stage, a Beer Garden, a Mardi Gras Parade, an Antique Car Show, Fire Works, Buskers, Bed Races, Derby Races, Boat Races, Modified Boat Races, Street Dance, Lobster Dinners, Pancake Breakfast, 10K Run for the Lobster, a Mid-Way, a Children's Parade and many other activities for the whole family.

Happy Carni Everyone! It was my first time and had an absolute blast with my family. Looking forward to the next year now! The whole town was packed and busy, it was so good to see the community and people from all kinds of places come together for the celebration.A Big Thank You to the organizers and kudos to everyone who was a part of it in making it a success that it turned out to be as I am sure all the hard work paid off too.

Had a great time at all the different activities and the weather was great the whole weekend. Loved the antique cars along the Pictou waterfront on Sunday.
