I can't even begin to explain how amazing this clinic is. As a young adult that as spend most of her life struggling undiagnosed, and then looking at my disability as a way to hinder my life rather than to facilitate, this clinic really gave me the confidence to do just that. The diagnosis process was smooth and problem free with communication between scheduled meetings. The reports from the assessments are very thorough and easy to understand along with the fact that recommendations for both school/work and your medical practitioner are clearly outlines and easy to follow. 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend visiting!

Before my assessment, all day everyday seemed to feel like a gut wrenching grind. I would wake up feeling like garbage, and go to sleep with feeling anxious and blue about how unproductive the day was. I constantly felt like all of my shortcomings, and all of my failures were solely my fault and if I could not be such a let-down to myself and everyone around me maybe I wouldn't be such a failure. The more the years went on, the more of lifes curve balls came my way and the mental script from my low self-esteem became increasingly exacerbated. Getting up and going to work started to feel more challenging than when I biked acros Canada. Once I suspected what the cause was, I saw several doctors who said were not qualified to provide an assessment and most could not even refer someone who was qualified. I found Dr. Saied online and read some very positive experiences and called his team for an assessment. They were very patient and extremely helpful. Compared to other clinics they are much more affordable and provide very timely results. The assessment turned out to be the most validating experience ever and everyday since receiving adequate treatment has been an marked improvement from the last. Everyday now I feel competent and capable instead of broken and flawed. I am able to delve into any task without being overwhelmed with almost the trivial thought concatantly circling in my mind. I've started eating better, more regularly and exercising in addition to fulfilling school and career commitments with a fire in my belly and don't feel like a wet cloth thats been wrung out when I get home in the evenings. Without s doubt I'm glad I stuck to my convictions and got help from the psychoed clinic.

I recently had an assessment with Dr. Saeid and the experience was helpful. The assessment was thorough and provided me with valuable insights. My insurance was able to cover it fully as well. Overall, I had a good experience.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Chavoshi and his staff over multiple appointments. The team worked very hard to process my assessment in a timely way, and they were empathetic and very knowledgeable. My family doctor commented that the quality of the report and the recommendations that Dr. Chavoshi provided were of very good quality. I couldn't ask for a better experience!

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting assessed by both Dr. Chavoshi and Alina almost a year ago. I was impressed by Dr. Chavoshi by my very first interaction. He was attentive, professional, honest, thorough, engaging, and made sure I felt at ease. This remained evident throughout the entire process. I had originally been overwhelmed by the whole thing, not really sure what to think (it had only been a lingering thought I mentioned to my doctor - I am an adult, high-functioning, surely this couldn’t of been “the why” I tried so hard and was constantly told “you just need to try just …a little harder” that was consistently missed – I was so incredibly tired) and he had made a point to make sure I was comfortable and at ease during the entire process. He also screened me prior to booking an assessment to make sure it was appropriate, ensuring we weren’t wasting time, or money, and to make sure we he was providing the right course of action and adjusted based on my goals. Alina was also incredibly kind, engaging, thorough, incredibly attentive, professional, and patient. She took her time (even significant extra time), to ensure not to rush, get all the answers, dig through the muck (or “masking”) and made so little fuss about the time that I didn’t even realize extra time was taken until afterwards when I looked at the time. It truly felt like they cared about finding out what was going on, which was incredibly heartening after being dismissed by health professionals for so long. I was even requested to provide report cards which I had absent-mindedly forgotten were almost all in French. While the assessments by him aren’t in French (which I didn’t need or want – so I didn’t enquire if that was an option by other providers), he has sufficient understanding of French to be able to assess these as well, which was a relief. The part that was potentially the most significant was that this was all done within 2 or 3 weeks of me finding the clinic, the report arrived not long after. Which is impressive considering how much work (and hours) are put in to these assessments. Most clinics I had seen had several months wait. This was absolutely vital at the time, and dramatically helped my health outcomes to ensure I was treating the right things. They are both incredibly hard-working and caring, and it shows at every stage. Dr. Chavoshi also provided me with significant resources, and services to check out to learn how to manage it appropriately and remained available to help me navigate it. I highly recommend checking out this clinic and seeing if it’s a good fit. It truly gave me the ability to say, ok, now I finally know what this [the gnawing thing that always felt off that I couldn’t pin down] is, I can work with this. Thank you!

Dr. Chavoshi was great. After that, things drop a little in quality and service.I felt communications were often unclear and delayed. I wouldn't say the process was clearly communicated and the administration was a little delayed.During my evaluation (not be Dr.Chavoshi) I often felt the graduate trainee who conducted most of my assessment, was playing down a lot of my responses and undervaluing the difficulties I was having. When I would ask for clarity on a question he would often take that as a response indicating that this wasn't an issue for me. I found this at times, frustrating, and it made me feel unheard and anxious. After reviewing my report, I could see that he was reducing my experiences. When Dr. Chaovshi asked for feedback on the trainee, I was trying to be kind, but after reading the report I am upset with his interpretation of my experiences and struggle.Thankfully I still received my much needed diagnosis, but I was living in fear that I wasn't going to be taken seriously. All in all, it was a relatively pleasant experience, but their admin needs serious work, their process needs refinement, and I would recommend a clinic that doesn't have trainee's doing assessments.

I had a very pleasant experience booking an ADHD adult assessment with this clinic. Most places have a 5 month wait time. Miraculously I was seen within a month!! I appreciated the use of virtual technology that allowed me to complete the assessment online in the comfort of my own home, book my consultations online, and would get responses to emails within 24hrs. The clinical associate who did my interview/evaluation over Microsoft teams, while he may not be Dr. Chavoshi himself- I assure you was very qualified for the position. If you spend 5 min googling any of his associates, you will easily find information available on their qualifications (so I'm unsure why a previous reviewer felt differently). The person who evaluated me was empathetic and I also felt was able to remain a certain clinical neutrality- important in an objective assessment. I was told I would receive my report in 3 weeks and I did! (Though- I'm a bit impatient and reached out to them before they sent it to me). I received my official diagnosis by Dr.Chavoshi and when they sent the report, I also received an e-book they purchased for their clients called Women and ADHD"

Dr. Chavoshi was an absolute pleasure to work with over the last couple months following an ADHD asssesment. He was professional, warm, genuine, attentive and very knowledgable. I felt very comfortable during every step of the clinical process of diagnosis and I am very happy I went with the Psych-ed Clinic. The results were delivered in a prompt manner and I feel very confident recommending Dr. Chavoshi to any of my peers or family members.

After requesting an ADHD assessment from Toronto Psych-Ed & ADHD Clinic, I received a call shortly after from Dr. Saeid Chavoshi, who suggested that previous psychiatric assessments I'd had completed were likely sufficient for the diagnosis I was looking to have confirmed and what course of action he would recommend I take given that previous diagnosis. I appreciated his honesty in disclosing that another assessment would be redundant and unnecessary, saving me thousands of dollars. He was patient and forthcoming with information during the phone call. Thank you, Dr. Chavoshi!

Very thorough assessment. Very kind and understanding staff, and the doctor was super knowledgeable! I highly recommend to come here if you are an adult and have a hunch that you may have adhd, it is quite liberating and validating to learn about your symptoms and to understand your past behaviours.
