I had never been for an eye exam, and was somewhat excited for and dreading the experience. Both Dr. Bassi and her receptionist were helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.The eye exam was thorough, well explained, and ended with an issuing of the proper prescription required.The practice seemed somewhat busy, but I got fit in the same day I called to book an appointment - which is a definite plus for me.

I recently had an examination by Dr. Bassi and must express how pleased I was not to be delayed, or waste time in a crowded room with other patients, waiting to be examined because her schedule was overbooked (uncommon for a medical practice). There was no waiting, the exam was thorough and any questions that I had were completely answered. I also appreciate that she was astute enough to notice & inform me about a minor condition on the outside of my eyelids (nothing to do with my eye exam) that other optometrists neglected to notice. I find Dr. Bassi very professional and conscientious - I definitely will be seeing her again for my yearly exam.

I am a client of Dr. Bassi for more than 5 years now and I'm very happy and satisfied with the service I got. She is thorough in examining eyes which is very crucial in diagnosing an eye problem. I must say that my eyes are in good hands! She helps me choosing the glasses just perfect for my face. I love my glasses as it is fashionable in a reasonable price! I would recommend Dr. Bassi to my family and friends.

I rarely give bad reviews but I was very disappointed with the service provided at this office last year. My first appointment took over 2 hours (I had to wait 30 minutes after my scheduled time and then wait multiple times throughout the process as she helped other patients) and the conversation with Dr. Bassi was unpleasant to say the least. After follow-up appointments my issues were still not resolved, and I had very little confidence in the advice I received because Dr. Bassi overlooked many details in my history that I needed to remind her of throughout the process. Over a year later and hundreds of dollars in, but still dealing with the same issue. I have been to a different optometrist and am finally feeling like I am making progress towards my eye health! Would not recommend.

Dr. Bassi took over the office of my optometrist who retired a few years ago. I went to see her for the first time to get a new prescription. From past experiences, I would be in the examination room for 30 min at most. With Dr. Bassi, I was in the office for nearly 2 hours! I was getting antsy and so was another patient who had to leave immediately due to another appointment.Even though I received my new prescription, I was pressured to buy a pair of eyeglasses from her little shop.This incident happened a few years ago. I'm now with a fabulous optometrist/ophthalmologist who gives prompt service as well as diagnose any eye diseases.I saw Dr. Bassi only that one time and never went back.

I never write reviews, however I thought I would write this as a word of caution. I recently saw Anita as I wanted contact lenses for reading. I have never used contacts. She was very rude and demeaning through the whole process. You have many choices of optometrists. I would not visit her again. Ever.

1. Long wait time, roughly spent 2.5 hours in the office.2. Only place that requires a covid test for an eye exam.3.very expensive eye exam.Basically just wanted a quick eye exam to figure out if I had something stuck in my eye. After wasting a good chunk of my day off I got the result it was an abrasion that would heal in a few days.Also told me my vision got worse??? Like, I'm unable to really open out of my left eye since it's red and not really best condition...In summary, save your time and money and look for a place with good reviews, always.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Bassi, I have changed many optometrists in my many years of wearing glasses and having my eyes examined, and by far she is the best optometrist i've had. She is very polite, professional and very caring towards her patients. I have recently decided to switch from glasses to contact lenses and through many appointments of trying different contacts until the correct pair was found, she showed extreme patience and care, to make sure that I had the perfect fitting contacts. It took many appointments to find the correct contact lenses and was very happy with the great service Dr. Bassi provided for me (reminding me to save a pair of the contacts for the following eye examination), and for all the time spent in her office she offered a very good price for the examinations and the different contacts I had to try on. Also today I went into her office without an appointment because I was having problems with my eye and she was more than happy to fit me into her busy schedule and examine my eye. I highly recommend Dr. Bassi to anyone who is looking for an optometrist.

Like some who wrote before me I was a patient of DR Nash for 17 years until he retired and anita took over the practice. I was there for my first visit with her back in 2012. Rude, condescending, self absorbed yet strangely insecure . Left with my file before even having examination and found another Optometrist.Its been 9 or so years since that day and I still shake my head when I think about it.

Good location. Optometrist seems competent (what would I know?), and is friendly and personable. Pleasant experience all around. After years of going there maybe a couple of minor issues but nothing that wasn't resolved. I appreciate the friendly opinions and options she gave when I asked for help choosing frames. It is not like you are getting a cappuccino while you wait but I only just thought of that now so let me know there is a good optometrist with an espresso machine in reception, please. 'CappuccinOpto' must have close parking and also be steps from the subway station. Thank you.
