First off, I am very surprised by some of the lower star reviews because my experience was 100% the opposite. My review is specifically for the Burnaby branch only:+ Bartlett was recommended by several of my neighbors, including ones that live in strata. There were other great recommendations, but Bartlett was the quickest to reply and follow up. I got an appointment for an estimate quickly.+ Never felt pressure or need to commit to their service after the appointment.+ the manager was very knowledgeable and took their time explaining everything. We learned a lot about the trees on our property.+ Never late - the appointment for the estimate was on time, the staff that came to prune our trees was on time.+ Before pruning, the staff did a review of all the things they were going to do. They also updated me on the progress of one of the trees we were more particular about, and asked if there was anything else I would like them to do. When they finished all the trees on the property, they did another walk around the trees with me, telling me what they had did and if there was anything else we wanted them to do before they leave.+ branches were cleaned up nicely and put in their mobile wood chipper.+ set out a sign a few feet away from our house letting our neighbors know there is tree work being done.Overall, it was a great experience. Easy communication and very transparent.

We have been using Bartlett’s services for the past 10 years ever since moving into a forested lot in Port Coquitlam. Their technical knowledge, safe work procedures, and excellent business practices make dealing with them a pleasure. When the winds come up, I know that my trees are in good condition. I also know that I am not being taken advantage of by having more work done than is necessary. At the end of every job, the site is cleaner than when they started. Finally, the attitude of everyone that works there is positive and professional. Thank you Kaden for all that you and your team does. See you in the fall!

As a professional landscape architect, I have recommended Bartlett's services for many years. In using them for the first time on my own strata building, I was delighted for our initial consultation on site. When the workers were sent to commence Cedar hedge pruning work, they came unprepared without the cherry-picker equipment discussed. They were also unable to prune the hedges due to parked cars without said equipment. Paid for the initial work that they could do, regular followups over a period of 4 months have not yielded any returned calls or emails.

The arborists were very knowledgeable and helped me better understand our giant tree better. The crew that came to complete the job were very professional and polite and got the job done in the pouring rain! Would definitely recommend Barlett!

Have had consistent good experiences with Bartlett over 5+ years and keep going back to them for pruning / maintenance of the larger trees / shrubs on our property. Worked with Lauretta many times in the past and most recently this spring with Kaden (our latest arborist rep) to request pruning of a large beech tree.Andrew and Noah were the pruning techs for our large beech and were prompt, courteous, professional and checked in with us several times to make sure the beech was pruned from all sides in the best way possible and cleaned up meticulously afterwards. Thanks Kaden, Andrew and Noah! Thanks for your help and great service! I would recommend Bartlett to anyone in the lower mainland.

Loud and disrespectful to the neighbour's. Also left a mess beside the house they were being paid to clean up. Used a leaf blower to blow the mess next door.. They could have cursed less, also.. thanks for a terrible afternoon.Zero stars if possible.

Other than forgetting to set up a mutually convenient time to do the work by e-mail or phone call, the Arborists did an excellent job. They were professional, friendly, kind and patient, educating me about the condition of the limbs that needed to be pruned. They also took pride in their work, and made sure to clean up afterwards..

We had Bartlett out to my complex where I am on council to remove 2 large trees that had been blown over onto our building. They arrived as soon as they could and worked hard to remove it. It seemed a highly technical removal as the trees were lying on the building. I was impressed at how they lifted the trees, using nearby trees, and then slowly cut the tree up without damaging the building in any way.

I recently hired Bartlett Tree to perform some serious pruning and shaping of trees throughout our strata building. From the moment I called them, they were very courteous and the gentleman who came out to give me an estimate was very knowledgeable and helpful. They provided us with a very detailed quote which allowed us to pick and choose what work was most important. When they came to do the work, the on-site team was super hardworking, fast, efficient, knowledgeable and safe and they did an excellent job of cleanup after the work. I highly recommend them and would definitely used them again!

My 60 foot cedar tree went down in a storm and into my neigbours property blocking the entrance. There were many trees down that night, Barlett was the only company that responded to my call, Kaden gave me an estimate the next day and removed the tree the following day. Great service!
