Kammerer Heritage Farm

Kammerer Heritage Farm is a little slice of heaven. If you are someone that loves being surrounded by nature, loves short hikes, birds/birding, flowers and looking for a lovely getaway from the city, look no further than Marcella's lovely property. She is a wonderful host, with a beautiful property. This is our second stay at her Airbnb on this incredible estate. We brought our little pup with us (dogs to always stay on leash due to free roaming birds including peacocks, orpingtons etc). We saw more than a few rabbits each day. And for bird nerds like us, you will be thrilled to find so many exciting bird species - we brought our binoculars and would go on mini birding expeditions" through the gardens and the hiking trail - we saw indigo buntings

I bought 2 beautiful hens from Marcella and they are stunning! They are so healthy and friendly! She cares for her animals immensely and I am so grateful I got to see her stunning gardens as well!

I definitely recommend this beautiful and serene farm to everyone whether young or old. My husband and I had the chance to see the unique breed of birds (hens, roosters and peacocks) - rare birds with beautiful feathers that I never thought exists. I am sure kids would love the hens and roosters, peacocks roaming freely in the farm in different colours, enjoying the peacefulness and the greeneries. Marcella, a very accommodating host indeed, patiently toured us around her home-grown vegetable garden and the forest. If you love nature - Kammerer Heritage Farm is definitely the place for you! Marcella is without a doubt the most thoughtful host you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. Thoughtful, kind, caring; she positively radiates warmth and sunshine. Her storybook oasis, Kammerer Heritage Farm, is a home away from home you will never want to leave.The second you pull into the driveway, you get the sense you’re stepping into a dream. A lush garden overflowing with fragrant blossoms and towering trees surrounds the grounds; everywhere you turn there is beauty to be found. Guaranteed the peacocks will waste no time showing off their fine feathers! Three of them put on a spectacular show that wowed us when we arrived, and their performance continued for the duration of our stay. Exploring the 50 acres forest is rejuvenating for the soul, and the joy of knowing you have complete privacy as you wander through the trees is an absolute treat.The rich history of this property is truly special. Passion, care, and love have been poured into every inch of the house. The craftsmanship and decor that fill the space blends country charm with a stylish sophistication; it is picture perfect! Innumerable little details make this stay utterly magical. Marcella’s farm is simply a paradise. We had a wonderful time relaxing by the garden and lounging on the balcony (we even caught a glimpse of deer in the woods!). This farm is absolutely stunning and Marcela is a joy! We pick up farm fresh eggs to eat every other week. The best eggs you’ll ever taste! Her chickens are healthy and happy with free roam. Pasture raised! She also has peacocks! My son loves coming with me to pick up our eggs so he can visit with the animals. Marcela also grows and sells vegetables and beautiful flowers, rents her property for private events and has the most romantic air bnb! Honestly a dream land! Such a short drive from our home, a nice escape from the city. So happy we found this farm and Marcela!

A Beautiful farmhouse, with a walking trail, a gorgeous garden with so many different flowers to enjoy, to seeing peacocks roaming around in the lawns & hens and roosters flapping in their den. A must visit place in Hamilton. Kids as well as adults would have a nice relaxing time. The owner of the farmhouse is an amazing & lovely lady who has dedicated herself to maintaining it so people can come and enjoy.

I have known Marcella for a number of years but have not visited her gardens until last week. Her tour was tremendous and her passion for her business is evident. Her house, which she hires out to guests, is a haven of peace and tranquility and she seems to have covered all bases to ensure her guests have a memorable stay. Her gardens are stunning and the sound of her numerous fowl and the tremendous Peacocks enhances the overall feeling of spirituality in nature. Walking around the forest paths of her 50 acre estate sends the walker into another realm. I visited again today with my 3 year old grandson who was intrigued by the birds. With an open invitation to bring a packed lunch and sit in her little bit of Paradise, I will certainly be back . I wish I had a wedding to organize as this would certainly be the number one venue!

Visited Marcella and her farm through Airbnb, it was a lovely experience I won't forget. She had a very clean place for us to stay and very well stocked with essential items! When we arrived she greeted us and gave us some cherry tomatoes and fresh eggs she grew on her farm locally! Even arranged a bouquet for us! Very sweet :)Had a lovely time viewing the peacocks and chickens, also viewed the stars from her balcony. An amazing time, will visit again!

Marcella is truly the most lovely host at her B&B. The hospitality is above anywhere I have experienced as she goes above and beyond to help make your stay truly incredible. This isn’t your standard B&B, from home like atmosphere to the beautifully landscaped perennial gardens, and flock of peacocks and chickens all with their own personalities it’s something you need to experience. It’s a little piece of paradise. Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Marcella for always making me feel at home.

Had a lovely visit with my family to the farm. Marcella gave us a tour of her beautiful grounds and gave us tips on seeding and planting. This place is magical with peacocks roaming the grounds, expansive greenery, and majestic trees. We took home some fresh eggs which were possibly the best eggs we've ever eaten.
