Beware....DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS!!!!!!! The absolute worst!

Mark Calhoun came through for us when 4 other companies didn't. He replaced a crumbling 9 foot flagstone step, by our back porch, with an 8 foot grey granite natural stone step. He really knows how to use a bobcat and we needed that to get the stone from the driveway and all the way around the house. We love our step and have more jobs for Stone Orchard Landscaping next summer. Thank you so much!

I agree with the other one star review. Honestly I’ve never experienced anything like what I did with Mark. Fully paid him in June for a job he never competed. Every day for months (literally MONTHS) was another commitment, another excuse and barely any work got done. The job was for a 20 x 13 foot deck and after Mark missing the entire summer of his own deadlines I finally fired him in October. But his final swan song on the project was to ‘help’ organize the delivery of materials he claimed to have ordered and paid for in June (which is why he invoiced me in full at the start of the project, clearly my mistake to trust him and pay), even texting that they were ‘on the truck being delivered’. When they didn’t show I called the supplier only to find out the materials had neither been ordered, nor paid for. It is mind boggling how someone can run a business this way, and frankly just as shocking that I kept believing (in good faith) that he’d finally deliver. He didn’t. Avoid working with Mark unless 1) you want to pay up front for materials he didn’t order, 2) wait all summer for a job that never gets competed 3) receive texts every day with a new lie and 4) chase him for months to get the money back that you paid him for all of the above.

This was one of the worst and most stressful experiences we have ever had to deal with. Mark Calhoun has no respect for his clients or work. What started out as a job he said he could finish in 10 days ended up being a 9 week nightmare. Lie after lie, he dug up our whole front and back yard making our entire property a mess, only to let it sit this way for WEEKS. With excuses upon excuses, lies about ordering materials and disappearing day after day only after an hour or two of work"

I'm very Surprised on the positive comments mark has received.November 2020 mark was hired to install pathway and patio interlock.length of job 7-10 days from start to finish, money requested paid.may 19/2021 project still not complete.False promises, ( He said he had people to help there was not one person that came and helped)Ignoring my text.not showing up on nice days I was always chasing him to see were he was.Him and his wife took it upon themselves to remove from my property what they thought were left over stones, to sell to a third party without my consent and while the project remained incomplete.Thankfully a neighbour notified me and i was able to get them back after confronting him.If my words aren't enough for people, I have texts pictures and neighbours that can confirm.I am still waiting for marks reply from yesterday telling him he has until this Friday to finish because we cannot be in this mess for the summer its enough.please proceed with caution I had nothing but stress with mark and I'm writing this now so other's are aware of my Experience.

We have worked with Michael and Lucas on a couple of projects and we could not be happier! The entire process was incredible - from planning, to their incredible design ideas, execution and the unbelievable final product. Working with Orchard was an absolute pleasure!

Mark has done many jobs for me friends and family if you’re looking for a professional he’s the person for you always does excellent work .

Mark was amazing to work with. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work Mark did for us. He did a porch overlay and interlock stone walkway and got us the most beautiful black natural stone step. He was honest, trustworthy and very easy to communicate with. His work is great and he was patient with the thousand questions my wife and I had. I would totally recommend Mark and will be using him on any future work!!! Thanks again Mark!!!

Update July 5, 2023: It's been over 2 years. We tried patience, the Better Business Bureau, and now legal action. We still haven't seen a dime. Mark has been served and a court date is pending.=======Has anyone else here had trouble with Mark taking and holding onto large deposits and not doing the work when promised? We asked for our $8000 deposit to be returned in November 2021. Although he agreed to return all of our money, we still haven't seen a dime...only broken promises to return by instalments (?!). I hope this doesn't keep trending further towards fraud. Where's our money and how much longer do we have to wait?
