Lakeshore Village Walk-In Medical Clinic
I've never had any issues coming to this walk-in clinic for years (at least a decade). My husband and I tend to come here because of the no nonsense help. I find the receptionist is efficient and good. She's never been rude to me.

Incredibly rude and disrespectful doctor, extremely long wait. That’s no way for doctors to speak to patients no matter what the situation (in fact, humans shouldn’t speak to each other in that tone) raised his voice and yelled at me for not getting a covid test before seeing him. Really strange, I wouldn’t let someone treat me that way.. I left immediately and wouldn’t return.

Quick wait time. Receptionist was kind and friendly. Doctor was quick but understanding and I didn’t feel rushed. Will return in case of immediate service when needed.

I had a fantastic experience here this morning. The clinic was clean, the receptionist was professional and efficient. The doctor was so lovely, caring and professional. She took my medical concerns seriously and listened to my questions. I would most definitely go back. Just remember to wear a mask!

Fresh from a new expanded space and next door to a pharmacy. Plenty of parking and an absolutely spotless waiting room.I have been a patient here with my family for more than a decade. I have always received great care and attention. They have accommodated me every time. They are LOCAL and have truly served the community.I am happy they are here and open. I have never felt rushed or pressured. They take the time and often perform beyond what i have expected.

Went in told the doctor my mental health was declining hoping I could get supports or at the very least a doctors note for work. Was told that's not an excuse and pretty much told to man up and get lost. Even seemed upset I'd even wast his time with this. So I went to another clinic who took me seriously gave me numbers to call counseling and supports I desperately needed. This was 2 years ago and I'm doing much better now no thanks to Lakeshore Village Walk-In.

Firstly, waited almost 2hrs to be seen. For this next part of my review I will be candid with the purpose of calling out the incompetency of the doctor I saw - he verbatim said that adults do not get UTIs, only little girls do, and tried to convince me that what I was experiencing was not a UTI. I've had many and know when I'm having one, managed to convince him to prescribe antibiotics, my symptoms were gone within 24hrs. A UTI can quickly become kidney issues, I don't want to imagine what could've happened if I didn't advocate to be prescribed medication. Oh yes, and another review actually reminded me of this, the doctor kept the door to the room WIDE OPEN while I talked about this sensitive health concern, it was beyond uncomfortable.

Pros: The only clinic I found I could walk in the same day. Short wait time. Easy parking. Lobby was clean and nice. Must bring Covid test to show you are Covid free. Masks are mandatory. Nice receptionist.Cons: The doctor seemed irritated. He was short with me and rushed. He only wanted to hear about the one symptom that bothered me the most. He did not do a thorough exam. My throat was killing me, but that was second on the list. We never got past the first one. (Maybe OHIP pays for one symptom at a time.) He did not tell me anything about what I might have. And I didn’t feel like I could ask. He did give me a script.Overall: Only go here if you have a simple matter. Avoid if you are very ill.To be fair, I saw only one height challenged doctor. It could be that the others are better. And, in fairness, he could have had a bad day. But, I was really sick.

WARNING!!!!If I could give this clinic no stars I WOULD.Not only is the reception rude and arrogant throwing my health card back at me but the doctors himself is extremely condescending and does not care for his patients. He full out said “do you not know how to follow instructions are you stupid”Extremely disappointed.I should have read reviews before wasting time going here.this clinic should be under review or shut down. They have 0 empathy and manners and no business etiquette.I will be reporting this doctor to health Canada. He should not be practicing PERIOD!

If I could write a 0 star review I would. Disgrace of an establishment. Acted hatefully about anything Covid, completely disrespected health conditions, and left the door wide open even though I asked for patient confidentiality. Dr.Belbin is the WORST doctor on the planet!!
