I would like to thank Mr. Chan and his team for the great job that they did for my house. I was shopping around for renovation projects that I had in mind and found Yok Mei as the best quote out there. They changed the flooring (marble and hardwood) of my house and renovated the kitchen and bathrooms. I have two little kids and was worried about the dust but they covered the whole area and we could even live in the house during the renovation process. The members of the team were very professional and organized and accommodated our needs. The quality of the work is fantastic and I am happy with the new design. Mr. Chan also provided some material which was way cheaper then any store that I new.I don't hesitate to recommend Yok Mei to anyone that I know.

Chan and his team were referred to us by a former neighbour in Woodbridge for whom they finished their basement and made several renovations. We saw their work and we liked it so we asked for a quotation for them to finish the basement of our new house in Bradford. They offered us a fair price and an execution of the project in three weeks. Chan and his team (Jason and Samsung) did an impeccable job. They were receptive and flexible to make some minor changes during the execution, understanding our needs. They covered and protected the finished areas of the house, worked carefully and cleaned up and collected waste at the end of each day. They were also very careful wearing their masks during these pandemic times. They know what they do and finished their excellent job exactly three weeks after the day they had started, including an additional renovation we requested during the execution (tiles on the family room fireplace wall, including changing the location of the electrical outlets). We are happy with their work and we definitely will recommend to our friends who may need similar jobs.

This is the second we used Chan and his team and would definitely recommend them for any home improvement or renovation. They completed a full basement renovation for us on time and on budget!! The quality was beyond what we expected!! Chan and his team were great to work with, and very professional. There were several trades involved in the overall construction and Chan made sure the work was coordinated and kept the project moving so there were no delays. Chan is very responsive and able to work with us on sticking with our budget and providing us great suggestions and options. We appreciated that he was also willing to include other minor touchups that were unrelated to the basement. We are thrilled with the renovation and more importantly the stress free process!! Chan and his team just completed a total renovation of my downstairs, including a new kitchen, flooring, and removing a wall. The transformation is incredible!I have avoided renovations for years because I didn’t want to deal with the contractors. So many horror stories. Chan was recommended to me and so I decided the time was right! The price was excellent and the workmanship and creativity were outstanding. I absolutely love my new home and I would definitely recommend Chan for any reno needs.

They renovated our basement bathroom and master bathroom and both look amazing. It was very pleasant working with Mr. Chan and his crews because they are hard working, professional, courteous and most importantly they listen. If you have any issues they fix it and get it resolved quickly. Mr. Chan made sure if everything was okay and if we were satisfied with their work. Leo did most of the job and he is amazing. He is very thorough and professional. I have recommended them to my friends and family.

We live in Toronto and just used Yok Mei Construction to do a big renovation of our house. We lived in the house for about 22 years and we wanted it upgraded to a more modern feel. Yok Mei Construction was referred to us by someone we knew who had work done by them recently. Let me tell you, one of the best decisions we have made in our life. Now that the project is complete I feel compelled to write a review. In our minds, Yok Mei Construction is a perfect balance in terms of getting the highest quality product and service, but at a very fair price. The whole project was projected to be 7 weeks and they completed it in 5. They stayed on time and on budget throughout. Every day they provided updates on the project when they finished so you know exactly where things stand and what’s coming next. They were very flexible in terms of making adjustments. Once the work started we primarily integrated with the project manager and lead Chan. He is very knowledgeable in construction, kept the crew on task, and was easy to reach (cell). Importantly, this is a very high integrity, trustworthy operation. EVERYONE who came into our home was pleasant, friendly, and professional. We felt perfectly comfortable leaving them alone and giving them full access to our home. They are meticulous about the details and won’t end the project until both they and the client are satisfied and that everything is perfect. We are glad we made the decision to hire Yok Mei Construction and highly recommend them.

Chen and his crew are fantastic. I have hired them for multiple jobs and they always finish on time and on budget. Most recently they helped renovate my entire house and did an amazing job. They also did it on a faster timeline than I expected. On top of that, they did some extra work in that timeline and finished so that we could move in when needed. I always suggest them to people and know they will do an amazing job. Whether it's a bathroom, kitchen, remodeling, or roofing...they can do it all!

Chan and his team did an amazing job on our bathroom. Our bathroom was very old and in serious need of renovations- Chan listened to our concerns and what we wanted done and did an amazing job in such a short amount of time. We estimated it would take at least 2 weeks minimum to have our bathroom done, Chan & his team got it done in about 8 days; they worked quickly and efficiently and we couldn't be more happy with the end result. I highly recommend Chan & his team for any renovations needed around your home.
