I don't usually leave reviews like this but I do feel compelled to leave this review as a warning to anyone considering NIU e-scooter. I ordered an e-scooter online and they sent a defective product which stopped working as I was riding it approx. 10 days after receiving it. When I pressed the throttle, the scooter would only move forward an inch, regardless of whether non-zero starting was enabled or disabled. It was almost as if the regenerative brake was stuck on, but I don't know for certain. After submitting the details and videos of the problem to NIU, they misdiagnosed the issue and sent the wrong part (a replacement throttle) to repair it with, resulting in a scooter that still didn't work. I then returned the scooter, requesting a replacement rather than a repair of the existing one. They never responded to my multiple calls and emails about this request beyond we will get back to you in 48 hours". After a couple weeks with no confirmation of a replacement

Bought my NIU MAX Scooter one week ago. What an excellent scooter, speed, comfort and compact for commuting. The sales team in the store were great guys. Very knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Excellent service with a great product.

Stopped by around 12-12:30 to purchase a scooter, KQi2 Pro to be exact, and it's ON SALE! I didn't get the name of the Niu Employee that was helping me but his CS was top-notch. 10/10. They helped me with everything, explaining to me how to get out of beginner mode, you must first ride 200m, check psi every two weeks, clean the drum breaks, and so on.Now for the riding part! I love it. Took it around the neighborhood to get out of beginner mode. There are hills where I live and the KQi2 Pro climbed up those hills like it was nothing. Can't wait to ride ride ride!

Update sep19,2022 : Niu Toronto is looking in to the sitiation. And cross refencing the scooter serial number. Hopefully to resolve the situation.September 18th,2022I bought a used Niu kqi3 Pro scooter from some else, I tried to by charger for it but he Niu store will not sell me a charger because I don't have proof of purchase.Now I am stuck, Niu service is stopping legitimate 2nd hand buyers, and the company is getting bad reputation very fast because of this.I ride several scooters, Kaabo Wolf King GT, Xiaomi M365, apollo scooters, never had this issue, and I must say this is very disappointing as the Niu is agreat scooter I been looking forward to ride. Niu needs to support 2nd hand legitimate buyers.

Stopped in on Saturday, took a look at the scooters.Staff were friendly and informative.Dropped a deposit and returned the next day and picked up my new Pro Max Scooter.After riding my first scooter home all the way into Mississauga from the store,,, I am impressed with the unit and quality.Do yourself a favour if you are walking past ,,, Stop in and say Hello, inquire you might be surprised at what your getting for the cost.Andrew/SandmanOG

My experience at NIU has been nothing short of perfect. They were happy to let me test-drive their scooters multiple times before I made the decision to buy. Caelan is great, and really easy to talk to about any of their products. While waiting for my scooter he gave me a loaner to use while I waited. He's helped me purchase aftermarket upgrades for the scooter, as well as installing them. They're honesty a fantastic NIU dealer and working with them has been great.
