The owner is very rude and disrespectful, she’d yell at you for wanting a good service. And I’m sure she’d still be rude responding to this review. She has no idea what customer service is and she lacks the quality of gaining respect with people. VERY BAD FOR BUSINESS!!!

Pretty mundane bakery compared to others we have visited in Quebec. Their idea of freshly baked goods is throwing already baked goods into the oven for a couple minutes when you order. Considering most of their fare is very basic bland pizzas you are basically paying absurd prices for reheated pizza.It is 2019 and all the infrastructure you need to take mobile & card payments is a smart phone. Neither of these standard payment options this place takes. Considering the area is touristy right outside of a town where we had full bars of LTE data this isn't some off-grid back woods shop. No excuse.Didn't have enough Canadian cash to cover a order for three people. So we gave them $40 in USA bills. They told us 1-1 conversion rate which is horrible compared to the current rate of 1-0.71. then they gave us the change in Canadian 1-1. So basically fleecing Americans 60% extra. Considering their unethical business practices it is likely they request cash only to skirt taxes. It seems like that kind of place.

We were excited to get some baked goods for the road as we traveled the beautiful and friendly countryside of Quebec. But we had no idea that this eatery would take advantage of tourists. We loaded up on about $20 of baked goods, then as we went to pay they indicated they do not take credit cards (no signs that we saw), code for pocketing cash. We had run out of Canadian money and only had American dollars. They refused to honor the international exchange rate, they insisted on one to one exchange rate and gave us Canadian change. So, we paid nearly $40 for $20 of baked goods. Highway robbery! Tourists beware, the only rude Canadians that we have ever experienced in beautiful and friendly Canada.

Very friendly staff and bilingual. Great fresh products and a good coffee. Nice tables outside under umbrellas. Well visited by the locals. Fair prices.Well worth leaving the main road.

Our favorite was the kouing amann and tomato cheese pizza. The price is very high, maybe because they are the only boulangerie near Tadoussac. The line was long when we got there. The brioche bun is not worth it, save the money and buy kouing amann that’s the same price as the bun. Service ok.

Ever since our first visit in 2014, when it was just a small hut and an outdoor oven, we always stop by for lunch and bread and enjoy it at the park around the corner, where you get the best view of St. Lawrence River

We've been sampling baked goods as we travel across Canada from the west coast. The charm of this location, next to a park we saw beluga whales offshore, plus as good as we've tasted pasteries was a memory maker! We will retrace our steps from Taddosac to try some other offerings as it all added up to something pretty special.

The food is absolutely incredible! The pastries are the best I have ever eaten. If you are in the area, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not stop by. Those who are running this shop were very friendly, despite our ignorance of the French language.Ignore the couple of negative reviews from grumpy Americans who think the world should cater to their lack of preparedness.
