The business is for all things regarding needlework craft. The owner and staff are extremely helpful and encouraging about finding the right threads and projects to suit your abilities. They have some free projects online at their website. Highly recommended.

My wife needed her work framed so we went to Gitta's where my wife often went there before her injury. They were so attentive and caring it was so heart warming.Thank you Catherine.

Couldn't agree more with the person complaining about lack of helpfulness. I was trying to buy information and supplies for a beginner in her 20's. No wonder this is a dying art. Very unfriendly and no one under 70.

I love this store, lots of options. I was a bit disappointed as I arrived this week to find the store closed until after Jan 2. Online it says that it was “open” - going forward I hope that they will update google. We drove for 45 minutes to get there.

The store pretty much has a monopoly for needlework materials in this area -- which is a good thing because friendliness and service are not their strength. I was in twice over the last few days -- first day I was actually greeted twice, asked if I needed help and then ignored even though I said I would need help. Finally the first person who spoke called out and asked if I was doing okay and when I said I needed help came over and gave very knowledgeable assistance. The second day I did get an hello as I entered, an oops from the owner (she was swearing about something) and then...crickets. Even when I put down stuff at the cash to buy, it took a while before the idle employee (who was watching me)actually came to the cash. If I was just starting out trying to get into this creative outlet I probably would find somewhere new -- or go on line.

Wonderful very helpful staff. So many great products, ideas and supplies. Expert advice. So inspiring. Something for everyone. A hidden gem.
