Came here explicitly to try the mochi and was not disappointed. Fresh, flavourful, perfect texture. I ate all 6..

I've visited a few times and they always had only few flavours but today, they had many! So I finally got to try 4 different flavors. My daughter and husband tried them with me and I think the chocolate is #1 for us, them #2 is Mango, #3 Houji-cha, and #4 is Strawberry. Strawberry was had red bean filling which is much stronger than the strawberry cream so I didn't taste any strawberry unfortunately. Houji-cha was delicious! If you like less sweet, I recommend!

Even better quality and flavor than the ones you find in Kyoto. The mochi texture was perfect: soft, right amount of chewiness and flavorful. The fillings are creamy and not too sweet. They are not cheap but totally worth the price. Service is always very warm and welcoming. My favorite flavours are matcha, houjicha, and daifuku.

Cute little place with the best mochi!! I always keep coming back for more and they stay fresh in the fridge so I can enjoy them for a few days. I love how they offer a different flavour each month.

Soft & chewy mochi. Tasted okay and was not to sweet. Flavours were also okay, nothing super special. Wish there was more filling.

I tasted the Mango last, and it actually made this review to be 5, the strawberry was not that good, still not bad. Their matcha was better than the strawberry. Their mochi/daifuku is thin compared to the ones in Japan and not much sticky, which is not a bad thing, at least for me. We were craving for mochi, since we just came back from a 3 week trip in Japan, and found this place. Their mango mochi was as good as the ones I tried in the Dotonburi in Osaka and the famous one in Tsukiji (super long line). I did not try the mango in Nishiki market in Kyoto. The famous one in Nara was thickest among all I tried and sticky, they only had matcha I think but there was so much people there, hard to see other products they were selling, and it was freshly made! I kind of like the version in this store, it does not make you full, so you can eat more than a couple (LOL), not sure if they made it thin in purpose. The strawberry Daifuku in Japan has a real strawberry, and as most know, strawberries in Japan are heavenly and in another freaking level, as most of fruits there, heck, everything there is another level compared to other countries. Sorry for digressing but I still miss Japan, and long story short, the Mango mochi here made this review a 5!!!

My girlfriend has been following their social media for awhile now and have been wanting to try this place out. We finally had a chance to do that today. You're able to pre-order before arriving which makes it really easy to get the flavours you want to buy. We ordered a few flavours to taste test, each mochi was really soft and delicious, they were really big in size as well and each one was stuffed with fillings. The taste was really good, I would come back for sure when another chance arises. They have normal flavours daily, and a special seasonal flavour as well. There is a lot of parking around the area so there is no need to worry about finding a spot to park!

The mochi here are SO soft and delicious! The cream filling makes it all the more tasty. Definitely worth many visits, especially with their monthly limited edition flavours to keep things fresh.

Sasaki is hands down my favourite place to get mochi and dorayaki in Toronto! They do their mochis just right; not too thick, just the right amount of chewy, and soft and fluffy at the same time. The filling is generous but not overly sweet. My favourite is the original cream, but the other flavours are good too.The dorayaki (red bean filled cakes) are also amazing. Get the one with red bean and cream! The sponge cakes are soft and moist, and the filling is done just right. It was a childhood favourite growing up in Asia, and also always reminds me of Doraemon. So much nostalgia in a simple treat.Worth noting that they are only open on Thurs-Sun, but I think that's actually less limited than in the past. They do sell out fast some days, so it's best to go early or to order ahead of time to make sure you have ample choices.
