Western Canadian Home Inspections

Kevin was more than willing to go over inspection and explain results. After reviewing report I noted a few things missed. Brought issues up with Kevin and inspection review was updated.

Talked with Kevin a few times to set up inspection. He arrived on time and did what he said he'd do which was go through the home thoroughly. We arrived at the property when he was finished and he did a walk through explaining where all emergency shut offs were located and showed us some issues as well as had them photographed and labelled. He was prompt writing the report and when we pointed an error out to him, he fixed it to our satisfaction. He only charged mileage one way too which was a nice break considering all the costs included when purchasing a property. Overall, made my first experience into the real estate market a positive one and would recommend him to others.Frontier, SK

Kevin Spate did a phenomenal job at doing the home inspection! He was very thorough and conscientious. He has integrity and much wisdom in doing his work. I would recommend him to others who are wanting someone they can depend on.

Scammed out of $500 for low par work. Never let the realtor suggest the inspector. There was no mention of the propane leak in the furnace that would have killed us all. No mention of the rotten floors or broken pipes. No mention of mold or rotten walls. No mention of the electrical issues. No effort was made to look under anything. No mention of collapsed bathroom floors.We got scammed by both this guy and the realtor.

Extremely helpful, we bought out of province and couldn't do more than a virtual walkthrough. Provided us with many more photos than you would typically expect. Came around on his own time to go through any issues we wanted discussed after the fact. Kevin's inclusion in the home buying process made me feel much more comfortable about the whole thing.
