Revera Forest Hill Place

Great place for retirement living.Tge staff is very knowledgeable & dedicated.

There aren't enough words to adequately describe this wonderful retirement home and its uniquely caring director, Robert Lamoureux, and his staff. Our mom lived at Forest Hill Place from age 90 to nearly 96, and told us daily that she couldn't believe how lucky she was. From her bright, open apartment to the extraordinary management, nursing team, caregivers and staff, from the full calendar of activities to the beautiful dining room meals, from the outdoor garden space to the Lobby card games and conversations, Mom did not have a need that went unmet. She was surrounded with friends and social stimulation; she was safe and cared for--even through a pandemic--and known by name; she was truly and extraordinarily happy. And at the end of life she was able to slip away quietly, still in her beautiful home with all her things around her. We are grateful beyond saying for so much caring and support from Robert, from the Medical Director Al Rogong, and from all the Forest Hill staff. We feel so fortunate that Mom found a home there.The Kaplan and Brown Families

We've had a problem with a predatory male resident for 3 years. No support from management. Guard your mommas! This matter has been escalated - mother locked in...predator is free.

Everyone always greets you with a smile and a hello!

My husband has been a resident of Forest Hill Place for the last 3 years. We have been extremely pleased with his accommodation, and with the communal spaces, including the garden. The staff are friendly and welcoming and do their best to accommodate specific needs. (Given his current situation, my husband also requires private care but support from FHP staff and CCCA workers is very helpful.) In non-covid times, there was a rich variety of programming available to residents; that has, understandably, been significantly curtailed and is now tailored to individual needs where possible. We long for the return of a pandemic-free environment. In the meantime, I continue to recommend Forest Hill Place to others; it is a warm and friendly environment with wonderful residents and a staff that is focussed on addressing residents’ needs and interests.

It's lit

Very good retirement facility, with lots of amenities and staff. It is fairly accessible for wheelchairs, although the elevators can sometimes be slow. Good selection of food, and they offer a variety of other activities. The common areas are very well maintained and clean. The rooms are a little small but comfortable.

Forest Hill retirement home has been nothing short of a wonderful experience for my family and my Mother! Yael was so amazing and extremely helpful with the whole process from Start to finish! All the staff and management do a great job and proving the the up most in care.. I would recommend Yael to anyone looking for a great home for there loved ones!

Active warm feeling lots goingOn for seniors.

From the moment we met with the Sales consulted we knew we found the right place for our Father. The time spent answering all our questions and the little things that was done to assist with my father's comfort was reflective of the care and love Dad received from the entire staff at Forest Hill Place. Arnel, Robert, Yael & Theresa made sure dad had everything he needed.
