Coastie Craft Burgers

Amazing burgers! We never left for a camping trip without a jar of back country saaga in our rucksacks. We've moved back to the UK now, so if the amazing owners could figure out a way to get them here we'd be very happy customers. The burgers speak for themselves but the fact they also come in recyclable jars and are delivered on bicycle just makes them even more awesome!

Love every flavour we've tried yet. As burgers they're easy to make, delicious and surprisingly filling; Recently i've been frying the mixture with onions and rice and using for stuffed peppers as well as for wraps. Lastly, i love that the company is local and environmentally conscious (read the post about their new packaging on their website for some insight). Highly recommend!

I've been a regular customer since they started selling their product. I think the velo city veg is the best veggie burger available - period. I use it in burgers, sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, salads and more. I also feed it to my toddler (although recently she has gotten picky and decided it's not for her).Although not a vegetarian myself, buying coasties got me interested in other meat alternatives which is when I realized that most of the alternatives use processed ingredients and chemicals opposed to coastie where their ingredient list is full of things I can get at the grocery store. I think coastie aligns much more closely with my values than those other guys.

Yummy burgers loved by the whole family (even by meat-loving dad). I'm pretty sure that the coastie burger is the only food our toddler has never said no to, no matter which of the 4 flavours (no wait, the other exception to the rule that no food without sugar can be always liked by our picky toddler would be French fries). I also love the sustainable concept behind the burgers: locally made and packaged in a glass jar with deposit. If you haven't tried them, you're missing out!

These a way more than just veggies burgers, they're a super versatile veggie mix that can be used for everything from burgers to hash, meatballs or chilli. Normally I would spend hours roasting veggies, meticulously following a recipe so that the end product wouldn't fall apart in my hands... these take all that work and prep out of it. They're incredibly flavourful and make for a quick, easy, tasty meal. Highly recommend the saaga!

I love how easy Coastie makes it to cook up a delicious, healthy meal. I also really appreciate their commitment to sustainability! FYI--I found I needed to cook the burgers a bit longer than I expected to ensure they're cooked all the way through :)

Super delicious, great flavor and fun to make! Love that you can control the thickness of the patty and get it extra juicy! Also versatile as it can be used in numerous other ways - great with scrambled eggs for breakfast! 100% will buy again!

So we had our first Coastie craft burgers last summer. And have continuously been eating them ever since. Each flavour has been excellent. They form and make patties very well, they cook up nice and simply and they taste amazing. We have played around with different variations and toppings and they complement the burgers amazingly. Can’t wait to get More of them as we just used our latest batch two days ago
