I had two Bespoke Suits done by John. One to wear as best man for my Brother’s wedding, and one for my own big day.John is full of energy, highly skilled and experienced. He was so great to work with and to bounce ideas off of, his creativity is limitless! The attention to detail he has really shows because of the passion he has behind his craft.I love the fact that he is not at all judgmental, and would treat anybody from any walk of life with the same respect once they are in the shop. John was wonderful! This was my first experience with fine menswear, and I was unsure of the process. Once I called John, he handled everything. He took the time to carefully explain each step of the process to me and what would come next. It was a lot of fun, and I learned a great deal. I had many questions along the way, and he was patient and thorough. We did a traditional black-tie tuxedo and added a white dinner jacket. I have always wanted a tuxedo and will enjoy this long-term investment for many years. Thanks John!

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of having John create my dream wedding suit. Upon my first visit, I had no prior experience with John- I had only known of his work by frequently visiting Yorkville and always being amazed by the wonderfully crafted garments in the window of his shop every time I would walk by.John was immediately very warm and welcoming right from the get-go. I had come in about a year before my big day due to pure excitement and he was just as excited and ready to start the process as I was. When you go to John for a Bespoke suit, you aren't only getting a top tier garment made from the highest quality fabrics by a master tailor- you are also getting an unforgettable experience. John treats anybody who walks through his door with the upmost respect, and he really takes all the necessary measures to make sure that you really enjoy your process from start to finish. You can expect quite a few laughs and good conversation during your appointments with him, he is a class act.Oh yeah, as for the suit... what John put together for me was exactly what I envisioned wearing on my wedding day. John has books and books worth of fabrics that he guided me through based on my budget and he was able to lead me to the perfect choice. He listened to all my hopes of what the suit should be and look/feel like- and delivered a perfect suit. The suit fit me like a glove due to John's precise Bespoke measuring and I had never felt more comfortable and confident as I did on that day, in that suit. I recommend John one thousand times over for anybody looking for a perfectly crafted suit and a sartorial experience with a true master of his craft.I can't thank you enough John! I came here with a few ideas but really had no clue what I really wanted, John took care of all of that, made me feel welcomed and involved every step of the way with a giant smile and even bigger personality. The result was a world class suit made by a master at his craft who truly enjoys what they do, you can feel the love and passion poured into the piece. The unbelievable quality, speaks for itself. John was just as focused on making the suit his way as much as he was making sure it was for me and it felt like me, which is such an overlooked detail at other establishments. John tailored 4 shirts and a beautiful navy blue suit for me (see photo). When I arrived at his shop for my appointments, he was very attentive and guided me expertly through fabric selection and style. The reason I went to him is for the benefit of his knowledge and experience.I also needed my suit in a rush because I was going out of town, so John expedited its completion then met with me at his shop outside of his normal working hours so that I would have it in time.I had been to other tailors in the past (with mixed results) but now wouldn't even consider going to anyone else. Both John and his assistant Brett are professional and easy to work with, and they know how to make you look good! I get lots of compliments whenever I wear the clothes John and his staff made for me.

Trust me, GO HERE. I got my wedding tuxedo done by John. The whole experience and result was absolutely outstanding. These guys are true professionals in what they do. Everything was very personal and accommodating. He walked me through understanding fabrics and patterns, and what we should do to fit my athletic body. He has so much attention to detail, he saw when he had to take the sleeve up half a centimetre. It’s like every suit/tuxedo he makes is a personal work of art for him and is made with real passion. To be honest, I want to find an excuse to go back and get another suit because I just enjoy being there.

Writing this review from my wife's account as i dont have a google account.I recently got married in December 2021 and chose John Ferrigamo Custom Designs based off of the stellar google reviews and let me tell you that I was not disappointed. John is a true professional and him and his team are true masters of their craft.Starting off with the fabric options, they are next to none. I had a 3-piece suit designed and the fabric were all of the highest Italian quality. I also had a custom made dress shirt made along with a silk tie and leather belt. I looked and felt like a million bucks!Second, John is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He's very warm, personable and I felt like I was in good hands every time I came in for measurements, fittings, etc.I cant even tell you how many compliments I received on the day of our wedding! The first thing my wife said to me when she walked up to the alter was how handsome I looked, this alone was worth it!Fast forward to January, I took my suit to a professional local dry-cleaner who's been in the business for over 20 years. When i showed up to pickup the suit he asked me where i got the suit from. When i asked why" he started raving how great quality the suit/fabric was and showed me the inside lining and how professionally cut and stitched it was. He even had the suit chemically cleaned separately from other clients because he didnt want to risk damaging such an amazing suit!John
