The Merit Group Insurance Brokers

I’ve been dealing with the merit group for about 5 years now and they’ll always treated me with nothing less than perfection, especially my broker Moe. He’s been transparent with everything as well as let’s me know all the details for my peace of mind. I appreciate all the work that Moe does for me, he goes above and beyond and is the main reason I continue to take my business to the Merit group.

The Miret Group is probably one of the best ones around .. They offer competative rates and truly personal service. The staff there are pleasant and helpful and if they don't know a quick answer they get back to you. Moe will go above and beyond anything I've ever experienced in the past with an insurance agent. Merit Group was the second company I contacted for a quote after receiving an initial quote from another company which drastically exceeded my insurance needs and therefore costs. There was no attempt to gain better understanding and accurate information. Recently acquired insurance products with the Merit Group, the staff was friendly and easy to deal with. The whole process was very transparent and the advisor that was working with us was very helpful also. Great customer service.

I have been with this broker from over a year now and my initial interaction was good, but it all went south when I tried adding my second car to the plan this year.I was given a quote by them, only to find out that they misquoted, and the actual premium was $50/month higher when I received the paperwork from the insurance company. I was expecting that they would own up to their mistake, especially after I showed them the proof with an e-mail chain with their agent, but they refused to rectify their mistake and suggested I can downgrade my liability if I wanted my initial rate. I understand that mistakes can be made, but as a broker they should have provided a credit or something, given this was their mistake and now I am on the hook to pay the higher premium, which I did not agree to in the first place.They’ve completely lost my trust as a customer.As per your response below: You mentioned that the error was realized when the paperwork arrived back at the office, but it's funny how no one from your team reached out to me to communicate. I had to reach out to the agent myself 5 times after getting the paperwork from the insurance company before I got a response back. This is what I found to be most frustrating. It is unfortunate that it took your team 1hr to respond to a negative review on google, but you failed to inform me as a customer when a mistake was made at your end. I really wish you can improve your service, especially around communication with the clients.
