This is a great family-friendly tourist attraction in Halifax. We spent about an hour exploring the ship. There are a lot of ladders and small enclosed spaces. The day we were there, it was fairly busy, but I know that many days it is not. It is a great way introduce kids to Canadian military history. I recommend visiting in good weather as many of the interesting parts are on the upper decks, exposed to the elements. Worth noting, this is not mobility friendly. Also, if you get nervous with heights, the ladders may make you very nervous.

Wonderful addition to the Halifax waterfront!! This VERY well maintained navel vessel is WELL worth the time and small expense to tour: an excellent reminder of Halifax's naval past and present.

Canada's first hydrographic ship was used in mapping the ocean from 1913 to 1969. It's located on the boardwalks on the waterfront. Definitely worth a visit!
