It's a great place for family picnics. You can keep the young ones busy fishing for small mouth bass and sunfish. It get pretty busy in the afternoons.

Definitely beautiful hidden place with a nice boardwalk surrounded by swamp on the headwaters of Lake Wilcox. Perfect for a small walk w family.

Nice place to go for a walk. I fished from the shore but there wasnt much reefs for the fish to hide. I wouldn't fish here unless I had a boat.

Not bad. Had the idea there was a larger boardwalk. Development right up to the boundaries. Overall a nice oasis close to suburbia.

Quiet (!) unlike other spots nearby, and a short walk that pays off with spotting and hearing frogs, turtles, tons of birds, and the occasional beaver too. Recent highlight—a heron being chased by a red-winged blackbird. It does get buggy so prepare for that. My photos are all iPhone—even better ones with my Rebel.

Beautiful and quiet. short walk along the river to the boardwalk. Awesome area for bird photography! So many species of birds. There are lots of other wildlife such as Squirrels, Muskrats and even Minks if youre lucky enough to find one.

It’s a very small beach area but very nice. Water was nice and warm. Not a bad spot.
