My daughter has been attending since September and I can't say enough positive things about her improvement in my daughter's Math and English skills. Florin and Jessica have been such a positive influence on her learning I would highly recommend the Academy to anyone!

Academy for Mathematics is a great place to enhance children’s performance at school. My daughter, now in 8th grade, takes math classes there. She was doing bad at math and usually failing the tests. In the first three months since joining Academy for Mathematics, she began improving and now she gets almost full marks. I highly recommend this place if you are in Hamilton.

I have had the pleasure of working at the Academy for more than a year now. The Academy is incredibly run by both Florin (the director) and the other tutors. Florin and the tutors do everything they can to ensure that students are not only learning, but enjoy the time they spend at the Academy. The Academy knows school is difficult as it is, so they focus on ensuring students have a relaxed environment where they can learn, make mistakes, and have one on one help with Math and English.Most importantly, lessons, homework, and feedback is catered to the individual student and both Florin and tutors keep an open line of communication between students, parents, and one another to ensure the continued success of each student.

My granddaughter is going to the Academy for Mathematics and English in Hamilton to improve her English and Math skills.What makes this tutoring center stand out is that the materials that are being used are following the Ontario curriculum. My granddaughter is in grade 6, she likes what she learns at this center and she enjoys her higher grades.I understood from Florin, the director of the centre, that the materials are updated at the time the curriculum is changed. I appreciate this, as my granddaughter will get help for any topic taught in school, as needed.The fees are reasonable and totally worth it when I see the improvement in her grades.I recommend this tutoring center in Hamilton for parents who want to see improvement in their kid’s school grades and their knowledge as per Ontario curriculum.

We’ve had our 12 year old attend here to improve his reading and comprehension. He has been tutored for around 3 months and is still attending a few times a week. The staff are nothing short of amazing, their personal approach to teaching each student based on the needs of the child is second to none. We really appreciate how they go above and beyond. When your child is excited to go to tutoring and learn, you know there is something positive happening. They truly make our son feel welcome without judgment. His grades have gone up significantly, he is more confident with his school work and more eager to stive to be the bet he can be!Without a doubt, we wholeheartedly recommend this facility, their methods and their staff!

My 5 year old daughter has been attending after school lessons at this location for over 6months. I have seen a great improvement in my daughter's reading confidence as well as her ability to tackle math problems. Florin and his team have been supportive in my daughter's learning. They constantly challenge and encourage her so she has grown tremendously since she began. I would definitely recommend this centre.

I paid a lump sum money for 100 lessens, my son’s school report card just came and his score didn’t improve at all. He had 82 lessons taken, I asked for a refund for the remaining balance, the owner said we have 3 free lessens at the time I registered him, but he didn’t give any free lessons when I withdrew. He refund the money immediately without any hesitation. Don’t waste your time and money.I have lost no only few grand, I also lost the time period that I could teach him myself or other places.Reply the comments from the centre.: my above review is very true. No one ever asked me to review my son’s progress at the 6 months period. I would not refuse to review his progress. Every time my son goes there , my younger son and I waited outside of the centre. I actually went to talk to the owner about my son didn’t know how to do all the questions that were marked wrong on the papers from the centre. They might noticed he is good on the last unit because I have been working with him since December. There are no reason for me to lie. I gave thousands dollars to the centre to help out my son, I do not care about the few free lessens.I love my son very much, I expected the learning would have some positive result. The centre didn’t ask and not necessarily to show my son’s report card. He would continue to learn if there was improvement.

My son's grades have really improved since enrolling 6 months ago. Thanks so much for your help. We've seen a 30% improvement in his math report card marks - but I think the most shocking thing is that he loves math now! Many thanks to the tutors and Director Florin ( a real gentleman!).

We were unsatisfied with what our son was learning in school. We reached out to the Academy of Math & English in Hamilton, where they provided a free assessment test. Their annual plan for both math and English tutoring was very affordable. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We have noticed huge improvements in our son's results since he first started. We definitely recommend them!
