We have been associated with Maclean’s for much more than a decade and at all times they have been superbly professional, dependable, and well organized. Their auctions run like clockwork, while the staff are helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. Our go to place for quality and service.

Bought a couple of items from them and I was very pleased. The items are usually used but in good condition. Items you would not find anywhere else. I find the staff are friendly and are willing to bend over backwards for you. They can also arrange delivery if the item is too large. Every time I go there they have new items for sale and to auction. I have recommended them to my friends and family. The website is easy to use and has pictures as well as a description of the items.

I have been attending Maclean & Associates auctions for quite a few years and unlike a few others in this forum, have only good things to say about them.The auctions are set up for ease of viewing, and the help (staff) are there to assist with high end items and to answer any questions.I have been in and out of the antique business for over 40 years and been to hundreds of auction in Canada and the USA, and there are very few that meet Macleans standards.I live 5+ hours away from Ottawa, and make the drive on a regular basis.I had interest in an item offered in the last sale. I called the auction hall and spoke to a staff member who answered all my questions, and sent further information and pictures to me within minutes...100% professional.Keep up the good work...!

Working under very tight time constraints to empty a house, Diane was instrumental in making the job easier. In her calm way, she went through the house and identified items that we could auction off. She was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I really enjoy MacLean's online collectibles auctions because of the wide and eclectic range of material that they offer. The auctioneer is probably the fastest in town (average 150 lots per hour), which I really appreciate. The invoicing is always accurate and the pickup of lots at the end always moves quickly. I've always found the staff to be helpful and courteous. All in all, a great place at which to buy.

Wonderful wonderful auction! I don't know how anybody could be mad at this business! I've been to some fancy enough auctions all across the East coast and I have to say, great experiences like this one is the reason I love auctions! The staff was accomodating! Helpful, professional! We had a lot of items but one gentleman helped us with our items every step of the way... Even when the movers got there, he was on top of it! The whole thing was one great experience!!! I got priceless items for a great price without any kind of stress! Loved it!

I have nothing but good things to say about MacLeans auction house. Years ago, this auction house was my first experience at an 'electronic auction' after going to 'manual' auctions out and about in Ontario foryears. What a wonderful difference. I haven't gone back to delays for an hour or more at the cash waiting for everything to be written long-hand, muddy grounds to slog through, waiting for the list of items to be walked to the back of the room to be recorded, etc. At MacLean's live auction you can bid on something and immediately go to the cash and it's all there ready for you to pay. Unfortunately, not many live auctions of late, I hope they come back. The on-line auctions are run in a very efficient manner, allowing clients to get an appointment for viewing prior to auction time. Overall, whether in or out of town, I've found their service fast and efficient with great, friendly service. I recommend them to anyone.

Diana and all of Maclean Auctions have always been nothing but kind and considerate. The amount of work that goes into taking all of the photos and posting descriptions of all of the items is mind boggling. I’ve always had a great experience. Five stars plus plus plus every time. I love all my finds and exceptional pricing, lots of fun and variety of items range from antiquities to everyday items. Highly recommend checking out this auction before buying anything retail as long as your patient for it to come up in a lot. I've gotten expensive tools, a/c, vacuums and antiques for a lot less. Super happy with their service, well organized and professional.
