My Daycare, Early Learning and Child Care Centre

A great daycare! My son started there at 12 months in July 2021 and had a very smooth adaptation. The facility is spacious and has all the necessities. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I can go on with my day knowing that my son is well taken care of.

This is the best daycare. The staff and absolutely incredible with the way that they care for the children. The staff teach the children so much and they make the environment so positive that my kids don't want to leave!

My three year old son has attended My Daycare full time for a year now, and he absolutely loves it. Almost everyday he comes home with crafts that he's proud to show off, or a new song that he was taught and wants to sing to me. The kids go outside to play in the enclosed play area attached to the daycare at least once a day, weather permitting. It is a clean, well organized space, with every toy a daycare could need. The best aspect of this daycare are the teachers. Aside from being so patient and kind, they took an active role in my child's learning. They read, sing, dance and do crafts with the kids. They also try to make days more exciting for the kids by having special days like pajama days. I would recommend this daycare to absolutely anyone!

If you want a daycare that does Montessori activities, celebrates all your child’s successes, and is like an extended family then this is the daycare for your kid. We had our kids there for over a year and only left when we moved out of town. The caregivers love their job and it shows in how they care for your child. The daycare is tidy and clean and bright with huge windows, the daycare has outdoor play areas and a nearby green field too. It was perfect.

This is my son’s first daycare , he attended My Daycare for 1 year full time. He was 18 months when he started and despite of his big separation anexiety he settled in very quickly. It is not only a beautiful and resourceful place but it is very clean and welcoming. My son loved going there; it’s been 1 month since we moved to BC and he still asks / talks about MyDaycare . The childcare providers/ teachers are all very experienced, calm, loving and attentive to children’s needs and they’re very responsible and patient. They provided tons of creative and educational activities and helped my son gain so much confidence and knowledge in many areas. I highly recommend this daycare. I cannot say enough great things about this place and the staff working there!

Both of my daughters are currently enrolled and we couldn’t be happier! We were referred by friends and family that had their kids enrolled and loved it, and we continue to refer our friends and family. We interviewed a couple other well known daycares in the area and as a mom I immediately felt a connection and sense of trust with the staff at My Daycare. These amazing women have become like family and we trust them 100% with our babies! They treat the kids like their own. I also love that my girls are exposed to a mix of cultures and language at My Daycare. The staff are so incredibly loving, accommodating and very professional. The same staff have been there for the three years we’ve been enrolled which says a lot about the management and environment. Many have been there much longer. Our daughters learn manners, social skills, hygiene, rules, kindergarten prep and have so much fun with so many creative activities! Some of the parents are teachers themselves and have raved about the learning program at My Daycare as well. I also love the outdoor space and large windows. The kids get lots of time outside in the nicer months and lots of natural light on the days the weather doesn’t allow for outdoor play. I can’t say enough about this daycare and feel it’s incredible underrated.

I highly recommend My Daycare on 149 Street for its welcoming and friendly atmosphere, qualified and caring staff and clean, safe facilities.When my two year old daughter started going to daycare, she didn't know any English and I was told not to worry, to keep speaking Romanian at home and she will learn English with the teachers and the other children in no time. It was so true! Not only she learned to speak English, she developed other skills and improved her behaviour overall.This daycare has a structured schedule that includes plenty of time for physical activity, quiet/nap time, daily reading sessions, arts and crafts, games and other age appropriate activities. It is also flexible with drop off and pick up times, which is so important for working parents.I can't thank them enough for being such awesome and loving daycare providers and treating children like they are your own. I am so grateful to all the staff members for their hard work and dedication. Their enthousiasm is contagious :)My daughter is starting kindergarten this year and even if we moved from West End to the north side of the city, we continued to bring her to this daycare because they are like family!
