Gang Nam Style - Alterations & Repairs, Cleaners

I really don't recommend this business: the lady doesn't understand English and simple directions! Where's the customer service? She took my money, but because of her mistake, I have to go back to pick up my shirt. My dad was an immigrant, but he learned English to be able to run his own business! I guess the spelling mistakes on her sign should have been a tip off.

I would not recommend this place for dress measurements. I paid $21 for the wrong measurements and it was waste of my time. I asked for a refund but I was refused by the old lady. The old lady was dismissive of my complaint and offered to re-measure and was incorrect again. Save your time and money elsewhere. Gang Nam Stype is a disappointment for dress measurements and customer service.

I took three pairs of jeans in for repair and was less than impressed with the quality of the repair. Upon trying them on they also shrank so much that I can no longer fit my leg in them. my girlfriend called and asked if they had dry cleaned them and the girl replied that she did. I took the jeans in to try and explain that the jeans are now ruined and that we did not ask to have them dry cleaned. She denied ever dry cleaning and could not give any explanation as to why they shrunk so much. She also would not offer any kind of guarantee on her work and completely dismissed all my complaints or offer any kind of compensation for the two pairs of now ruined jeans. Very disappointed with this service and will never be back again.

Claire is an awesome seamstress! She's done some quality work for me. I've brought many items to her to alter/fix. Always does a great job! I'd definitely recommend her.

I bring everything here because the work is top notch. Everything from a simple hem to far more complicated work. I brought a suit here for total reconstruction and you couldn't get better results on Saville Row. I must say there is a language barrier so I make certain that my message has landed (a post-it note and a pen is handy).You must do this with Lionel Messi as well, fyi. It's interesting the polarity of these customer reviews. How can the experience be so disparate? Her work is excellent. Period. Everything else is subjective.Can't speak to the dry cleaning.

This lady is by far the best in Calgary, in terms of quality and price. Anywhere else you go will cause 2-3 times as much and take 2-3 times as long. She has altered several of my pants and they are ready the next day! 6 out of 5 stars

I can't say enough good things about Gagnam. I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. The woman that runs it is very professional. She turns around jobs very quickly and always does impeccable work. Their prices aresome of the best downtown!

My snowboarding jacket was ripped and had a broken zipper. The repair is so good I can't even tell where it was damaged plus the new zipper is better than the factory one. Thank you, 5 STARS!

A button came off my coat an hour before an important meeting. She sewed it back on in 3 minutes while I waited. It was an excellent job, and at a very reasonable price.
