Metrobus

I lost my bus card and hence went there to get a new one. Only then I got to know someone found that and used all of my rides. Anyways the lady in the customer service was extremely helpful.

I'm only giving two stars instead of one because some of the drivers can be fairly nice people. But the bus charter system in this city is too inconsistent and creates too many inconveniences for it's passengers. My personal experience today; went to the bus stop 5 mins early (as recommended by both driver and general dispatch) and so I wait. The website shows that the bus is 7mins behind, so I continue to wait. After about 10mins I check again and it shows that the bus has passed my stop already and is only 2 mins behind. So I attempted to call in and check for myself what has happened to find out that the office hours now close earlier and there's no one to speak to about the issue. So even if I wanted help in regards to the situation I have no choice but to wait it out and be late to whatever destination or event I may be trying to, let alone the fact that this has happened multiple times on commute to work. They should do a workshop with the companies in the mainland, like Ontario for example

useless, save your money and walk. bus drivers are mean, and half the time they will say they didnt see you waiting at the stop and pass you.

Insanely inconsistent timing.Drivers can either be 5+ minutes early or 5+ minutes late.Am going to be an hour late for work today, because one showed 6 minutes early, and the following scheduled bus had to sit at the stop with a flat, waiting for a backup bus.Useless service, especially for how much they charge.If there were any other public transport, I would gladly use it in a heartbeat.

Awful,Specially if you try connected trips.Buses are never on time and you should wait for 30 minutes or one hour for the other one.After 6 pm all of the sudden the number of buses reduce substantialy.The information in the google is wrong and you can not understand anything from metrobus application.

Shame on metro bus for removing bus shelters . So much for a “caring” province.St John’s is so far behind in caring for their homeless. Shame on them ! I’ll never use metro bus again ! I wouldn’t even give them one star.

I've had alot of hiccups with the past 4 years but I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. There are alot of mean drivers, but there are alot of nice ones as well.

Inconsistent routes, long wait between rides, shuts down too early. The 1 star is for the drivers who have to put up with the sad excuse for a capital city transit system.

I cant believe this is the only public transportation service we have in this city. Can guarantee if any better service comes around metrobus will go under. Horrible tracking service. Ive been a metrobus customer for almost a decade at this point and the entire time has been frustration after frustration. I feel like im owed rides at this point with the amount of money ive sunk into bus passes when the busses dont operate properly. The timetrack service shows one time but when you get to the stop its already gone past. Being late for work just because the busses cant get their act together and actually be at the stops AT SCHEDULE TIME. The busses are constantly dirty and unkempt. Always reeks of cig smoke and the drivers are very heartless. When you try to call to get help after the bus passed a stop ahead of time they only lie and say it was on time so they avoid helping. I hate using metrobus but we're all forced to use it. Literally will do anything i can to help people stay away from metrobus.

Simply put....the drivers are rude. If you do not have the personality or the ability to deal with the public then get another job. My friend and i took the bus from Water Street and the driver refused to even speak to her as she was paying her fare. I never took the bus again. Id rather pay for a cab. Maybe you should offer training in dealing with public.
