Very good store. Please keep it there.Saves lots of fuel when people in the Combermere, Palmer Rapids, Quadville triangle do not have travel to Barrys Bay, for building supplies.Well run store.Rating 8 of 10.

PROS:Great location for a satellite store, easy access, plenty of parking, lots of staff to serve customers. LIKE TO SEE: some Departments have limited inventory which is expected with a satellite location.

Bought a jobsite radio at full price, turns out it was used and missing the power cable. Talked to Jeff the manager to get a discount or replace for new one, he ended up taking up 30 minutes of my valuable time chatting on the phone in his office. He said that he will not give a discount because the open box display radio that I purchased, that was used in the store is not considered to be a used item. It was dusty and parts were missing from the box. His exact comment was if a new car is driven off the truck onto the car lot

Many years in the area, with the last 4 retired in Combermere.Unfortunately, my experience has been a nightmare each time I have visited the Combermere Home Hardware.With, needing some soil on Tuesday, I opt to go to Comberemere. (Barry's Bay is actually a few minutes faster)It was with great surprise, shock, and becoming overwhelmed with the AMAZING costumer service I received.Many Thanks to BRENDA AND DERAK whom brought much pleasure to my visit. Arrived here on a stormy night after travelling back roads and busted a tire! Pulled in to their parking lot as it was the only business that left it's lights on!!! If I could buy up the entire inventory I would! Life savers. Thanks guys!

We were not aloud to pick our own lumber. Only 2, 2x4s and ended up with third rate wood. Not great for $5.00 for eight foot long boards. But what do I know, I'm just a woman.
