Totally enjoyed our experience here. Our server, Victor was amazing. We found the music quite loud making it difficult for the four of us to have a conversation. Victor was able to turn it down. The place was naturally quite busy. Good food, good service and the company was amazing which made for an overall great experience. Try it out for yourself!

We stopped in at Browns for a quick bite thinking it'd be like most of the other Brown's we've been to around the Lower Mainland. Must have been a bad night for them, it was very disorganized. Food came out slow and to the wrong tables. Lots of confused and irritated glances at the tables around us. Not to mention the prices were very high. Happy hour menu was decent - had some affordable and interesting options but lots of fried food!We settled on Fried Chicken and Pickles as well as a Avocado & Yam Roll. Both were decent enough. I would try something new next time, maybe off the legit menu which seemed to be a bit more diversified.Victor, our server, was the only saving grace. He seemed to be handling the pressure pretty well and did his best to accommodate amidst the kitchen struggles.

Service has gone way down. I used to come here all the time but seems like with a lot of newer people it takes at least 15 minutes to get a drink. Close to impossible to get the waitress/waiters attention and just not a good experience. There’s a reason I never go in anymore. Don’t know if managements changed but the service isn’t what it used to be. I’ll be sitting there for 15 minutes before greeted. Rather go to cactus. To add I know personally of people who wont go back anymore for that reason explaining bad experiences similar to mine. One where they were forgotten at a table so they finally went up to the bar in which they weren’t given good service. Browns, please try to do better. Also I am a pretty reasonable person, if it was a one off time I’m not one to write the restaurant off but after 8 times of consecutive bad service I decided I was done. I won’t be back.

Amazed at the happy hour menu as it seems SHRINKFLATION is a thing. Ordered the cauliflower bites and the spicy crispy chicken and pickles. 5 pieces of cauliflower and the chicken was so small they were dry and so salty. Guessing it was an off day? We would have ordered some main dishes but we were just so disappointed with the portion.

Update: since posting my original review, the manager of this location reached out and let us know that they are actually pretty careful not to put sesame in the deep fryer. He furthermore gave us a gift card so we could come in and try it again. We did, and the food was good. Thank you very much to the management here!I know everyone goes crazy for sesame these days, but it's also a common allergy. Three of the people in my party today suffer from that allergy, so we are always cautious going to new restaurants. We ordered some things like hamburgers with fries, Caesar salad, but our server came back and told us that there is sesame oil in the deep fryer, which means that eating any of the fried food here could result in a medical emergency. I was grateful that our server at least checked for us, so our orders never made it through. We needed up going somewhere else after just paying for our drinks.Nothing against our server, but we won't be coming back until we can eat here safely.

I love the Belini and generally switch between the Dragon Bowl or crispy chicken tacos, so good! The baked carrot cake was absolutely perfect, and the servers are always super friendly. Great place.

I came to this location today after a long time. I have been here a few times previously over the years. The food and atmosphere were amazing as always BUT my server at the bar was amazing beyond words! Her name is Kirsten and I cannot say enough to express my experience. A true genuine young lady with the best personality ever! I would clone this young lady and put her in every Brown's location

Hanna was our server and she was outstanding, my wife ordered water and Hanna made sure that it was filled at least three times! I had the chicken dragon bowl and my wife the Florida special sandwich. My rice bowl was very good with many levels of flavour. My wife loved the sandwich and the yam fries were perfect.Thank you Hanna for the great service and we hope to see you again at either Brown's or a Abbotsford Canucks game.
