Sandman Signature Edmonton South Hotel

Everything was great. And we’d stay there again. The only thing I would say is that there was way to much chlorine in the pool and hot tub. But the pool area is very nice and very clean.

The front desk staff is really nice. They field any complaints and issues personally. They are really responsive. Marvin(Mervin?) At the front desk was especially attentive. I really appreciated it.On the other hand, housekeeping is DISGUSTING. Hair all throughout the sheets, huge stains on the beds, hairs in the shower, stains on the couches. This hotel needs an upholstery cleaner. Every fabric surface had white residue on it. Gross!

We had a great experience except that we called to ensure we were on a pet free floor. We were told that we were but our room had had a pet in it. My girls both have pet induced asthma and one had an attack and the other was coughing all night. I notified them on the morning. They said they would try and let maintenance know to clean the ac filter and the cleaners to clean the room. If we were there more than 1 night we would have had to change rooms. They said that they would try and discount my room or have a manager call but I haven’t heard anything since. I do know it’s a long weekend so I may hear back tomorrow. The pool deck was also about 35 degrees warm. We were in town for a basketball tournament and the parents had to take turns supervising the kids on the pool deck because the air temperature was soo hot we could not stay out there more than 5 minutes.

Overall, my visit was good. But I was not entirely satisfied, especially with regards to breakfast. As a platinum member I was offered the option of a breakfast box which would have worked perfectly with my schedule. I picked the box the evening before and arranged for pick up the next day, upon pick up I was told by the concierge that they had no idea what the breakfast box was. I was on a tight schedule and could not sit down for breakfast, so I was left without anything for the morning. Despite being told that management would reach out to me, I never heard from anyone, the only reason I was offered compensation was because I reached out to the evening concierge that day and they gave me a food voucher. In the future, I will be looking for hotels that have breakfast included in the stay and likely will not be staying with Sandman.

Words can not express our gratitude for AB and his team. What an incredible experience we had. We were a team of 27 people and from the moment we booked AB walked every step with us until our arrival. Not to mention, he was there to greet us by name. Sandman Signature South was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel’s elegant design, combined with its top-notch amenities, made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The attentive and courteous staff catered to our every need, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Especially, the morning brewed coffees. :) With its convenient location and outstanding service, Sandman Signature Edmonton south hotel has quickly become our go-to choice for accommodations whenever we travel to Edmonton. They held a group booking block for our event. All our guests enjoyed their stay. The rooms were very clean and modernized. Service with staff and managers was great

Right in the center of some great restaurants and entertainment. Had a really great time with my family and vball team. Staff was awesome and friendly, and management made sure our checking and accommodation were smooth and acceptable.Both restaurants were great as well for cheap and fast eats to high-end steaks which were priced very reasonable. Great experience, and will definitely book again

We were staying under a group booking and the hotel offered a great selection of rooms that worked very well for our purpose. The staff were awesome and looked after all of our special requests. I look forward to continuing our business relationship with Sandman Signature South Edmonton.

We were on the ground floor on the pool end. It is very busy and the conference rooms were being used there was singing and too much noise. There also ended up being a physical altercation right outside our room which was fairly disruptive and hard to get back to sleep after. There should be better sound proofing for these rooms.

Really great welcome and the lobby was so impressive and very very clean! All staff friendly and kind and the balcony room had everything we needed and the bed along with high quality linens made for a great sleep. Thanks so much!
