Scott Aspinall Landscape Photography Workshops

I attended a workshop offered by Scott last summer. As a novice photographer, I worried that I would be out of place, but Scott was attentive and directed his help perfectly suited to my level.

Scott is a wonderful and passionate photographer. He is keen to pass along information and to teach the people around him that are learning photography. He is good with unpacking complicated subjects regarding photography and relaying them in simplified terms that people can understand. Not to mention that he is a wonderful personality - I can't recommend him enough!

Scott is one of the most insightful, passionate and patient people out there. Which make him a perfect teacher for landscape and night photography!! I taught workshops with Scott and learned so much from him as I taught alongside him.He is the master of composition, of light, and of making the most out of a scene.Whether you want to learn the basics, or become an expert - Scott is the perfect person to learn from.His care for his students doesn’t just stop when the workshop is done - he will always be more than willing to offer feedback on your new images, give tips on processing, and share new things he learns !I highly recommend attending any workshops you are able to. You will be amazed what you can achieve!

I participated in Scott's Grasslands NP workshop.Scott brought together concepts and techniques in a way that was both fun and effective. We covered a lot including composition, focus stacking, camera and tracker technique, and post processing. Working with Luminosity masks was new to me and was both challenging and rewarding.Scott's course was excellent overall and I would recommend taking it for anyone who is interested in improving their astrophotography. I was very pleased with how the course ran both in the field and in the classroom.Scott is excellent at communicating his ideas, techniques and approaches.

I took a night photography course with Scott in June of 2018 at the Great Sand Hills near Leader, Saskatchewan. I had never done night photography before and I found that Scott's knowledge base to be amazing. Not only did he help me with composition and the technical aspect of night photography but his knowledge of the area and where we could go to get the best shots was fantastic. Scott's easy going manner and simple teaching style made it easy for me to grasp all of the concepts and techniques and made it fun to learn. The post production help that Scott provides is also awesome. I would highly recommend taking a Photography course from Scott, not only will you have a great time, but you will come out of the course being a better photographer.

I was fortunate to attend a night sky workshop with Scott at the Massold Clay Canyons in Saskatchewan. Information was geared to all levels of learning and all types of equipment. Scott gave individual attention and hands-on support to each person, and we all left with treasured images we had captured of the Milky Way above the hills and valleys.

July, 2018, I attended a night photography workshop with Scott Aspinal at the Claybank Brick Plant National Historic Site, SK. I found Scott to be very professional , knowledgeable and a good instructor. Prior to heading out for the evening shoot, Scott spent about three hours covering photography basics, composition and what the group needed to know for the evening milky way shoot. I would absolutely recommend Scott's workshops.

I attended a night photography workshop, led by Scott, which focused on shooting the Milky Way. Scott shared his extensive knowledge of photography and the night sky through his presentation to all attending. When the book work" was completed we headed out to our location

Scott’s workshops are a must! He is incredibly knowledgeable and makes the learning experience fun. Scott made sure he got a significant amount of one on one time with each person attending the workshop throughout our time there to make sure we were understanding everything. I will definitely be attending more of his workshops in the future!
