Good selection of trees to pick from, Darren is very helpful in choosing the trees and given me good landscaping ideas and tips. Will come back for mulch and other garden supplies. UPDATE Purchased topsoil, it was very good screened, along with limestone, delivery was 3 days late but they are busy now.

Got yard of limestone and 6 yards of clean screened topsoil, black mulch in White Cube was delivered. Very happy with both products. best prices in Durham. They are short staffed, but be patient.

We are very disappointed about the services of this company. We ordered our top soil and triple mix soil last week May 1-May 5, 2023. They said we will have the soil delivered on Saturday May 6, 2023. They delivered our top soil on Monday May 8, 2023 but in a lower quantity that we have ordered. We called them back. Neither at this time, May 10, 2023 they didn’t deliver the remained quantity of top soil. They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. The triple mix soil is still delayed. We do not recommend this company at all!

Been to all the other landscape yard in Durham... this is by far the worst. Gave them a chance a fee times, always unorganized, yards a mess, soil full or rocks, guys seem clueless, and they don't accept clean fill. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.

This summer we were very excited to be able to afford mulching our vegetable garden for the first time (it’s not a small garden). I won’t even get into the issues we had regarding delivery, but now our beautiful garden that we’ve worked so hard on over the years is permeated with finely ground asphalt. We didn’t notice until the mulch had had been added to our garden and allowed to dry out. This is where we grow the food that we eat. We move material by hand and don’t own any machines to help us out. The thought of having to pull this all back out next year, and then find some place to dispose of it is overwhelming. Im heartbroken. The attached picture is a small example of what we could pick by hand in just a few minutes. The smaller bits are now part of our soil. As a former business owner, I struggle with the idea of leaving bad reviews, however this has caused me so much additional work that it’s hard to remain optimistic about things.

So impressed with how my garden turned out all thanks to Darren and Dana at Maple Lane! Everything from the triple mix soil, mulch, red stones, flowers and even the wood pieces are from the nursery. Excellent service and products.

Don’t buy anything from these people. I went to their property and pointed out what I wanted. I bought - and paid for - one cubic yard black compost, and one cubic yard natural wood chips. They were supposed to be delivered in two piles onto my driveway. I even spoke to the delivery person before the delivery took place. When I got home I found a large pile of ‘junk’ on my side lawn, plopped on top of my hose. The pile is made up of ‘garbage’: clay, dirt, stones, wood, weeds, construction debris, coloured plastic, broken tiles. I have no idea what this is or where it was sourced, but it wasn’t what I bought and paid for. It looks like maybe municipal waste of some kind. I could not get Maple Lane to respond to me. I will have to find a way to get rid of it. The photos show the black compost I ordered, where each of the compost and wood chips were to have been delivered, and what I got.
